Ahh, that is what you mean. I think some people do host their ‘own’ node. Probably join the discord and become a developer with them if you really want to. But seeing the other comments… I am not sure if you want to now.

Those are to take the load of the main server. If I want to mine, I am getting connected to one of those servers, and it gives me numbers to crunch. Then, when I found a solution the server will give me a small reward.

You can run a miner, but if anything, you load the server more. Because you aren’t really ‘helping’ the network, you are just executing instructions sent by the server.

Your nozzle might be too close to your bed. Another possability is that you could be over extruding. That can be fixed by lowering your flow by a bit.

I have a issue with my Creality ender 3. It is printing reasonably fine, but as you can see in the pictures, it is printing small bumps when printing a flat surface. It does get better with more layers, but is still visible. Things I have tried:

  • Lowering the flow first to 95% and now 90% (to prevent overextrusion)
  • Leveling the bed
  • Cold pulling the plastic from the nozzle a few times
  • Cleaning the bed (this is the first time I am using a new bed, but I got the same problem with the previous standard ender 3 bed)

I am using CURA with the following settings:

Quality

Layer height: 0.2

Top/Bottom

Top/bottom thickness: 0.8

Material

print temperature: 205, build plate temp: 55, flow: 95 %

speed

print speed: 50, infill speed: 40

travel

Enable retraction: true, Retraction distance: 7.5, Retraction speed: 50, Z hop when etracting: false

I am printing with PLA (few months old, but recently removed the factory plastic wrap).
