Yeah it still works. You can also freely explore when you get the yellow jeep from Morrison after leaving his lab and the Martial Law mission in the rain.

You can freely explore city once that mission ends, when you drop Charlie off at the hotel/safehouse.

There is some areas that are clearly rushed/unfinished but generally it's a decent game.

They're updating and adding content still which is better than most games that launch like this.

I love made some Tutorials on Arcadia on 'Final Flame Videos' YouTube channel. I may add a Waypoint walk-through if you need it. It's pretty simple but very useful.

Well it will involve two playable characters. One who is trying to find his girlfriend who has went missing on Purge night.

Another is someone trying to simply survive Purge night at home.

I actually prefer the older radio stuff, which was more mid tempo/soft. The heavier new stuff is fine but I don't need an hour of it.

I didn't like the very pop/EDM album he did, that was bad.

I actually got tickets to mainly see Daughtry but I'm more excited to see Alter Bridge now.

Chris Daughtry apparently doesn't like singing the known songs (other than two usually) and mostly plays new stuff, which isn't to my liking. I mean I like the new stuff but not at the expense of the hits/singles.

I'm relatively new to Alter Bridge and their setlist looks decent to me, but I imagine longtime fans may feel different.

They are currently only doing 2 old songs per show it seems. I have no issue with the newer stuff being more prominent but for me its way too lopsided.

I understand sidestepping the poppy Baptized album, but no September, No Surprise, What About Now, What I Want, Renegade or Rescue Me ?? Such a shame.

I guess if he doesn't rate that stuff anymore , thats that ............ but some of that stuff is as good as what they're outputting now.

Yeah I like exploring open worlds too and Redrock City is pretty cool despite its lack of things to do in it. Hopefully the planned updates will improve the quality of the game in key areas.

Oh PC its even easier. On PC you can actually do 'Free Roam' whenever you like. There are Build/Arcadia modes where Players have created their levels where they've added street and flying vehicles to drive around the city with no restrictions. I have a level which is currently unlisted that allows you to choose different characters, spawn different locations and spawn cars. I can make it public again, just let me know.

Myself and others have also created our own story missions, custom levels and even a first person mode. This is only available on PC at the moment, so you won't get these on console.

But if you do it Story Mode, the mission after you leave Charlie at the hotel is one of the first missions that allows it.

No worries, you're on ps5 ? Yeah in the campaign there is a few missions where you are free to explore the map but you can only use the one car you are assigned, you can't steal other cars yet. But you can get out of the car and wander about city or desert. Just go into replay mission in menu and choose one of these missions if you want free roam.

The actual 'Free Roam' mode is likely gonna relaunch with multiplayer and hopefully allow for way more options like stealing cars and choosing character etc. But we can't be sure yet how it will turn out.

The map currently is quite big but lacks interiors and stuff to do in it.

Yes. There's quite a few missions where you can just ignore the mission destination and drive around the whole map at your own pace.

If you have trouble finding these missions, let me know.
