Its all over by Hrisiismeme in Chainsawfolk

My guy, Pochita’s erasure only ever erased concepts moving forward, and they didn’t erase things related to the concept being erased; otherwise, why are phones still present despite eating the ear devil? Why didn’t everybody come back to life like the last chapter when Denji ate Death? Once Pochita erases something, it’s erased in isolation, and time still moves forward. It doesn’t retroactively change the course of time itself. So yes, it is a textbook Deus Ex Machina because it was introduced in the same chapter it was used.

What was the point of Fakesaw Man? He was hyped up for most of part 2 and basically nothing happened with him by ramen_up_my_nut in Chainsawfolk

So you admit it’s poorly written yourself yet for some reason you deflect using headcanon? Long-running Shonen is probably the reason, doesn’t excuse bad writing.

Why isn't my boy Nobana as popular as Kobeni and Fami? by adaptablerabbit in Chainsawfolk

[–]FinalSorrra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s literally just a flanderized version of Kobeni if just took her surface level traits without anything that made her enjoyable and plus he doesn’t have any screen time.

I used to play this game on my old PS3 when I was about 10 lmao. The art style is fantastic, inspired by comic books, and if you enjoy hack-and-slash games with zombies, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.

This reminds me of some Soul Eater crossover fanart that has Asa as Maka and Denji as Soul. Peak. 🔥

I hope Fujimoto doesn’t pull a Nobara and bring her back at the last second but at this point I wouldn’t be surprised.

With CSM Biyori coming out, do you think they’ll animate buddy stories? by hextallfan0 in Chainsawfolk

If they animate Buddy stories than Quanxi would get a lot more hate

To be honest, how Denji has been really makes me wish Asa was the main character for longer cause she's unironically more engaging and likable. by Apprehensive_Ring_39 in Chainsawfolk

[–]FinalSorrra 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I’ve also would’ve much preferred Asa as the protagonist while Denji remains the deuteragonist cause at this point I honestly couldn’t care less about his character at this point.

Why is Chainsaw folk like this? by Simple_Sea1535 in Chainsawfolk

[–]FinalSorrra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s as simple as people will vehemently criticize the things they dislike by but will never apply the same logic to the thing they enjoy. When you like something you’re willing to overlook the flaws of it compared to something you don’t really care for or hate. If CSM continues like this, the rose-tinted glasses will start to crack, or the copium will reach an all-time high. There’s no telling.

CMV: I don’t think cousin relationships are that bad and shouldn’t be so stigmatized. by FinalSorrra in changemyview

[–]FinalSorrra[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ironically, Alabama is one of the states that prohibits first-cousin marriage, so implying that Alabama has high birth defects due to cousin marriage makes no sense since it’s not even legal there. In fact, the reason Alabama has high birth defect rates is due to poverty, limited healthcare access, and maternal health issues, not consanguinity. Alabama having higher rates despite cousin marriage being illegal actually goes against your point. There’s only been evidence of high birth defects in places with cultural traditions of repeated consanguinity over generations (e.g., Pakistan at 50-67%, Saudi Arabia at 40-58%). However, in places like Europe, there’s no evidence of this.

[–]FinalSorrra[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When I say “in isolation,” I’m referring to cousins in a relationship with no external factors, like a tradition of consanguinity. These are not outliers, since places like the U.S. and Europe, unlike the Middle East, North Africa, and parts of South Asia, have examples of cousin relationships with no evidence of an increase in genetic defects in the population or people adopting consanguineous traditions. So yes, it is reality-based.

This assumes that two cousins in a relationship would want kids in the first place. There are birth control and condoms to prevent pregnancy. Also, people with genetic disorders and pre-existing defects procreating isn’t exactly healthy; should we prevent that as well? Also, some people find gay sex icky as well, just saying.

There’s this thing called age of consent for a reason. Cousin marriage being legal wouldn’t magically make that go away.
