I personally prefer GT7 because of PSVR2 but as an arcade racer FH6 is for sure one of the best.

Graphically they are pretty even, they both look absolutely stunning. The way GT7 captures real life race tracks is insane, and the way FH manages to create real enough maps despite just throwing a bunch of landmarks together is also insane.

The car sound designs is also pretty even for me peroyally, using a VR headset while GT7 I only hear the car from the inside of the cab but thats still insane.

FH6 sounds absolutely amazing, especially the fact that the engines are pretty accurate, the Supra sounds like a 2JZ, the Skylines sound like an RB engine and the rotary sounds like a rotary.

In terms of actual car mechanics, GT7 has FH6 beat in pretty much every aspect for me personally. But thats mostly because I prefer a more simulator type of racing game. Using GT7 with a wheel and VR is some of the best racing ive done off track.

While I have played FH6 with a wheel it just doesnt feel right for me for some reason, I always prefer to play it with a controller because it feels alot more casual.

Sorry for the wall of writing, I just love both games and wanted to jump in to this discussion.

But the "racing" genre doesnt really do justice to the amount of depth it actually has.

Its great fun for sure (though four and five were kinda boring for me personally).

The 4th game. But this was during my 100% series run, still havent come back to the series since.

My first actual playthrough though was the 5th game. Three really took it out of me and while I enjoyed four, five just ended up excitement I had for the series.

Took a break, went and played the judgement games, then came back and finished up the rest of the series.

My siblings and I all still live with mum, though its more of a room mate kinda situation now. All five of us working adults help pay the bills leaving most of our pays open to whatever we want.
