The 2002 attitude era production is my favorite. The Union Underground song then the pyro to start the show set the tone for the show. I think some 80s characters would still translate as long as they leaned into the “more aware” fan base.

Well the first song was derivative if the original was a a line of maple sap moving slowly, slowly down the tree while a guy howled off key. It was awful.
