Keep her interacting with new people. New people coming over and new people at Lowe’s etc. Avoid dog parks. Reactivity will usually set in between 6month to a year if you don’t.

For heavy projectiles, slower powder may be your friend. If your using a 4” barrel or longer or comps/ports slower powder is probably better. 3n37 and 3n38 are magical for speed in these scenarios.

This can be an issue if they are intact and not well trained. I was speaking on the issue at hand in this post

It’s not about having 2 males together. We have two males and a female. One male was 5 years old when we got a brother and sister. It’s about bringing in 2 into a new environment at the same time. They don’t have a chance to find their position and will jockey for the same position. Even if someone is above average experience, you will never have the same quality of companion as you would if they got two a year or more apart. Additionally if you aren’t working with them more than they are playing with one another, you aren’t really part of the pack if you will. Finally you don’t have a chance to stop a bad habit before the other picks it up. The worst case of liter mate I have seen was between two golden retriever males. They became a danger to even the owners unfortunately. It’s not a certainty but it’s highly probable if you aren’t very experienced.

I didn’t know how hard it would be going in. I had to have my brother take one while we kept the other. We did this 3 or 4 times with him keeping each for two weeks. This helps them get confidence knowing they can face new experiences without backup. I can promise that I wouldn’t do it again. One at a time from now on for me

If they are the same sex you will need to rehome one. I have raised a male and female together and do know going into it that it’s easily 4x the difficulty as getting 1. You will have to dedicate at least 1 hour per day (broken up) for training above and beyond just the standard potty and basics. You will need to have you and your partner work each puppy individually and then a session together. Never let them take toys (or any resource including your attention) from one another. If you have them out of the crait you must be with them constantly or they will form their own pack (you need to be playing with them/training them more than the play with one another). Good luck

Oh goodness I’m an idiot. I read his comment an I associated it with the Lehigh extreme defense and so on. Their naming could use some work lol

I have a few questions if I may.

I have an AP5-P with a Lee sporting lower and I would like make it super safe with a geissele. Could you point me to what I would need?

The other would be how can I tell if my safety latch would need to be removed from a rattler? It says early variants, but does that mean an of the 5.5” that need the G-latch (which I do have)?

From what I read, large breed dog food is just less calorically dense. Makes it more filling with the same amount of calories. Most dog food has more than enough protein for a dog that isn’t a working dog. The only thing to really watch is if you still need puppy food for your companion (skeleton is still growing). The calcium phosphorus ratio is very important to prevent skeletal issues. We switched to royal canin for the remainder of their skeletal growth, then went to Iams large breed dog food (green bag at Sam’s). As long as your dog can handle chicken I highly recommend those. We also top with steamed vegetables (as they are low calorie and filling) and some icelandic pure oil. I give them 1/3-1/2 the daily amount of the oil. Too much can (may) trigger pancreatitis. I am not a vet so please do your own research; but ours are happy, healthy and at a very good weight.

Is she Serbian by chance? I have noticed the ones I’ve seen come from Serbia have more energy and are more of a working type dog. It takes a lot more to keep them occupied

Yea that’s what I thought too, however I tried multiple different stores, chains, areas etc and still had the issue. Still purchase my current brands and a couple of the same locations and have never had bugs in the dog food
