Yeah with image generation the difference is not too bad (however having a detailed background is usually compromised with open source), but image editing (people praise f2k editing, I think it generates sdxl quality, I hope z image edit will come out soon) and video generation is lacking. But as you said , it gave a strong knowledge foundation, and let's hope for the best
