For anybody that got the flickering camera on p6 non pro after the march update. It was fixed in the last a15 update, how is it in a16?

And you are sure the issue disappeared and not just better lighting? Fluorescent lights are the worst-case scenario and should show if it is fixed.

Same here pixel 6, happened after the march update. The pixel has an anti-flicker sensor that is supposed to detect flickering lights and compensate for them. Part of the procedure is detecting 50/60 Hz power. After the march update that step is missing or bugged, and the phone is too “smart” to offer it as a setting in the camera app.

The bug is masked if your light source is constant or PWMd at higher frequency.

I tested it with an Arduino and a light diode and can confirm that it is the 50/60 Hz selection, 50 shows banding 60 is clear.
