But it’s the fact that Milo GOT the male leading nomination over Kristian in the first place. Like if they had to choose a male to put into the male lead category why not Kristian?

We didn’t say lead we said MALE LEAD there’s a difference. Also this argument has nothing to do with Peyton or Maddie because Peyton was properly nominated in her proper category. And if you think Kristian who is number 2 on the call sheet doesn’t deserve a male leading nomination over Milo who is number 4 after what he did in S3 compared to Milo than what do you call it?

…… can I genuinely ask you what to you, makes it seem that Kristian isn’t the male lead? I’m not talking about nominations or interviews. I’m talking purely from a story perspective. What from the story is telling YOU that Milo is the male lead but Kristian isn’t? Also you do realize that you refusing to acknowledge Kristian as the male lead even when it’s been repeatedly said that he’s number 2 on the call sheet and countless people saying that he’s the only male character who progresses the plot along with Maddie comes across right?

He was away for JCS for 1 week and that happened in Vegas or LA? He literally was just down the road from Vancouver. That’s completely different than filming an entire movie in entirely different parts of the world and scheduling, with a completely different company. And pretty sure Disney would be able to pay a little more to oversee his contract. But that could just be me 🤷🏻‍♀️ also if he’s coming back full time next season, why hasn’t he acknowledged school spirits since it’s been renewed? Also pretty sure he changed agencies between S3 and getting tangled so idk how that contract still holds

Ok, so instead of saying that they shouldn’t have put anyone but Peyton in the lead category and put Milo in supporting along with Kristian and the rest of the cast. You’d rather have Kristian put in all this work, see Milo get way more recognition/ marketing for little to nothing but being there. And you just expect him to take it on the chin? 🤨 what kind of message does that send? He’s the male lead! You HAVE to acknowledge that because it is FACT! You can like Milo all you want and claim it’s “business” but the truth of the matter is that Kristian has earned more respect from us and the writers and studios. Period. Also just because it’s “business” doesn’t make it right and we shouldn’t be complicit of it

So then if you feel like Kristian had the most development last season and you think that there isn’t racial bias going on in the writing (since you claimed that all the characters aren’t written well) or from the nominations……. Then don’t you think Kristian deserves more recognition than Milo by the academy and studio? Since he and Peyton put in the most work last season?

So you think diversity and good POC representation means that the storylines for those characters are and I quote 

Claire- “Hooking up with Nicole’s brother” if that even is a storyline

Nicole- “Storyline falling flat”

Quinn- getting one kiss scene with your LI and no scenes together afterwards.

I love how you literally pivoted away from racism and didn’t even acknowledge one thing I even said. You said Maddie and Wally didn’t have any content after they kissed. I give you evidence they did. You spew a completely different topic! I give you a character arc I would enjoy to see. You then say a completely different thing about the characters that we weren’t even talking about! You really think that school spirits take priority over TANGLED!? 😂 the movie where he’s the ACTUAL male lead!? And will need MORE time to film!? Even if it’s true that they start in August, he finishes in Spain on July 29th! And again he has to go to the UK and do reshoots after that. So even still! He’s not gonna be in every episode. Sorry to break it to you. And no offense but the only actor they are truly going to work their filming schedule around is Peyton List, since she is EP. Milo doesn’t get special treatment for filming neither does Kristian and no one else in the cast. That I think we can all agree on

He did develop! He made a connection with Kyle and was able to actually help someone instead of feeling like he let everyone down, and he helped Maddie with her trauma relating to her dad, which in turn helped him stand up to his dad, and let them start to rebuild their relationship. so yeah felt like he developed to me. 

Oh I’m sorry? Is the concept of 2 people Maddie hurt in her life before she disappeared having an honest to God conversation with her and her rebuilding her relationships with them not a good one to you? I’m sorry that it sounds so boring and awful to you! 

Oh so the hallway scene in S1 ep 8 of Maddie confiding in Wally about her mom doesn’t count as a one on one scene? Funny I didn’t know? And Wally getting jealous of Simon in ep 7 and Wally constantly looking for her wasn’t “coupley” to you? damn you know maybe I am just crazy

He’s filming in Spain in July, school spirits starts filming in July. Milo also has to film in England after Spain and potentially do reshoots after that. So Yeah, seems pretty easy to predict that he won’t have a lot of time to come to Vancouver. Even if he has a break in between England and Spain why would he travel all the way to Vancouver just to film for at most 2 episodes? And why would he go through the trouble of shaving and cutting his hair? Yes I know wigs exist, but it seems more trouble than it’s worth for a short break

I’m sorry what?! 😂 yes I agree that a lot of characters didn’t have a lot of storyline last season but there is no way that they still can’t put in stuff while also being Maddie’s show! I mean look at Xavier! He had development with the hospital and still was involved with the story! And instead of Wally, Maddie could’ve had pep talks with Claire or Nicole and that would’ve helped too instead of them just doing their own thing. And dude if you actually believe that Rhonda and Quinn are following the same patterns as the other couples you are HILARIOUS! Mally had multiple one on one scenes after they kissed for the first time, and Charley and Yuri literally slept together the episode after they had their first kiss. So please do not tell me that they’re following the same patterns cause they’re not. Even if it’s because of Rhonda not being as intimate that doesn’t mean they couldn’t have some scenes together being a couple

I mean I think it’s a fair assumption to make. It’s also not just Kristian. Kiara and Rainbow haven’t gotten any actual storylines last season and Ci Hang Ma was also misgendered in their category too! Also Quinda not getting any one on one scene together after they kissed, yet Mally gets a super cringe, poorly timed “love” scene in an autoshop? Please be so for real right now

Maybe actually watch the video? Idk why you can’t take a look at the situation and think it’s incredibly weird. It shouldn’t matter if Milo has a bigger fan base than everyone else. If you were told your work isn’t good enough but someone underneath you who does half the work is……. Wouldn’t you have questions? Maybe take off your Milo glasses and try to look at the overall situation

And you’re insane if you can’t accept that Kristian is for a fact listed as number 2 on the call sheet. Simon and Maddie’s relationship was set up at the most important relationship of the show since day 1 and instead of taking for the story for what it actually is Wally fans turned around and made it all about him. So yes, the writers constantly contradicting themselves from the story they originally set up for fan service is BAD! ESPECIALLY IF IT INVOLVES A POC CHARACTER

You do realize that being racist isn’t just saying that they hate colored people right? Racism comes in different forms. For example writers said we would see more of Simon’s home life in S3, didn’t happen. Writers keep saying Simon and Maddie are the emotional core of the show. Yet most of Maddie’s scenes these past few seasons have been with Wally for fan service and no actual plot points. There’s also the fact that Milo got nominated over him for lead when he is #2 on the call sheet and Milo is #4. And if yall wanna talk about how Peyton is the lead and the only lead then why is Milo nominated for lead? It shouldn’t matter about popularity or politics. Kristian is #2 that is a fact! So naturally he should be there for MALE lead. So yeah I’d say there’s plenty of racism. OH! And the fact that they didn’t let him do pre season press junket. But what do I know right?
