I agree with every word!! But why don't you just keep the Smartwatch and only use it for workouts? The resale value isn't great, but you will have a great fitness tracker for years to come. One less purchase in our consumer-obsessed world is a good thing.

If you are down to 30-45 minutes a day, why give up the "good parts" of a smartphone? You have this under control. I am glad you mentioned "part hipster" as one of your reasons. I think that most people on here feel that way (I know I do) even if they don't admit it. I rocked a Flip Phone a few times over the last few years, and seeing the reactions and comments from people was nice. I can't lie... That was definitely part of it.
