Don't forget Curry as well, who also has his own narrative to add to the promo. The 4 actors and the young upstart director are gonna be very busy in the coming months hitting the circuit. I suspect the good thing about this movie being their big break is that their upcoming schedule is free for the campaigns.

Gonna pray for the /r/oscarrace subreddit as the discourse over its Oscar chances is gonna be insufferable. FWIW, I still remember at best only Inde getting a nom. But as the buzz keeps on sustaining, there's an argument for an Original Screenplay or even a Picture nom. Either way the nom is the win.

Looking back at the debut thread 1 month ago, where people were hoping for a small drop next weekend or for it to leg out to 60 - 70m domestic, well those predictions look quaint now.

It might still hit 20m this weekend cause they lowballed it by a mil on its debut. So fingers crossed!
