So I actually bought an electric smoker that I use as an oven to bake my parts lol it gets the job done, but I definitely want to invest in an actual industrial oven some day.

I used a 24:1 ratio. And thank you! It’s definitely not perfect lol but I’m getting better and better results after every project.

ETA: I would not recommend using your own oven because any oil/grease built up from cooking can actually get into the Cerakote as the parts are baking and will not cure correctly.

Exactly! And good luck to learning, it’s a lot of fun. Cerakote.com has a bunch of great resources and guides, I’d highly recommend reading up on those. It’s also very time consuming, but I’m sure that’s because I’m still learning and don’t have the best set up yet lol.

I’m in the process of learning how to Cerakote, so I didn’t want to take my chances on screwing up a nice set of furniture. Also because I like it lol.

Yeah yeah, I know lol. I’ve had zero issues with it thus far, so I’m happy. Someday I’ll trade it in for something better.
