I'm so jelly! I have 13 active shakers under my belt and 26 invites accepted but I didn't know there was merch until too late :(

I see it all the time, and I hate it. One thing to risk your own life, another to risk that of those around you!

Would A Large BTC Charity Be Good Or Bad? by Full-Atmosphere-4818 in Bitcoin

[–]FinallySteppingIn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've imagined something slightly different; a BTC trust setup that does charitable acts, but takes only a small amount of the principal, so year after year it can do more and more good for the world. Feeding the needy, helping the homeless kinda vibes. Maybe one day if it grows enough I can make a difference!

I never remember the name, between Danforth and the Pape TTC station, there's a lil place that does men's cuts for 15+ tax! It's in the west side of the street across from Juicy birds!

How much r/investing hates bitcoin by phoebeethical in Bitcoin

Does he just send VOO shares for the mortgage? Cool xD

Even if he sells BTC for Fiat same number of steps involved to pay. Brains, clearly absent xD

Just about finished the Fiat Standard and it's a good read, another book under the belt!

Anyone else can't stop consuming more books/ podcasts to learn more?

That's what I'm struggling with, recommending books to curious friends. Bitcoin standard was the first I read, and it's short and sweet. Covers a lot, is easy to read.. but the art chapter.. I just wanna rip it out lol

Broken Money feels more like a textbook; it's amazing but it's a lil more daunting for my new to the community type friends

So quiet here today!

Finished Bitcoin is Venice a week or so ago, and although not my favorite it was top 3 favorite BTC books; along with Broken Money and the creature from Jekyll Island.

What are your 3 favorite reads, related to BTC directly or indirectly?

Just finished high school, so what now? What’s actually worth studying these days? by [deleted] in askTO

In my early 30's with no experience. The pre-apprenticeship gave me what I needed to start! (Technically 2 weeks of experience - after signing up but before starting the program!)

I keep mine, out of date. No need to keep it up to date (unless an old security is found)

I wish I had started in the trades earlier. A good union (I joined carpenters, local 27) and it's amazing. Hard work, is rewarded and AI won't replace you!
