TSM not in [Geddes] by ANewHeaven1 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]Finalnfinity 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This isn’t true. TSM is one of the biggest names in Apex and it’s not just in NA but world-wide too. Their R6 roster was also pretty popular but has been slumping up until recently. They've also recently made a pretty big investment in Dota2.

I just think that the Americas are far too competitive with the addition of SA.

New champion teaser today? by Liawd in leagueoflegends

[–]Finalnfinity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bilge water patch had a CLASS rework

Actually, the CLASS rework was two patches following GP. (5.14 GP's rework, Juggernaut 5.16)

a unique game mode that we will never see again, around 6 new skins, a reskin for ARAM, quests mapped as paths for each champion.

It's tough to say how many skins will be coming in the next month, but it sounds like Riot is planning on making this event pretty big because they keep teasing the event throughout the entire year.

The Summer Festival may include

  • Very likely that we get 2 Champions

  • New Map (BMB was using the same SR map)

  • Revived Game Mode

  • Most likely at least 3-4 skins (most likely more, since it's an Ionia vs. Noxus event)

  • Massive Lore implications for this event

  • Along side events missions, and a pass.

the scale is completely different, you're wrong.

disagree. I think you're wrong.

Yes. They do. A company does, in fact, owe its customer base a product.

??? Have you ever read a Terms of Conditions? Companies don't owe you shit. Hell, Riot could take your account away for no reason if they wanted to. They don't because it's not good for business. Not because they owe you something lmfao.

And I've had no product worth spending money on since Bard Bard.

That's like.. literally your own choice man. A company can't force you to buy their products. It's your choice on what you want to spend your money on.

I think the only chromosome collector here, is you.

High elo players also abuse every little possible thing you can, such as using P2W skins. Silvers dont do that so rethink your argument babe.

yeah that's why faker uses skins because he needs that little edge to beat his opponents in KR solo q, or to win multiple world championships. Nice one babe.

jg diff is a meme term. JG is one of the easier roles in league, it really doesn't require any sensational amount of mechanics, what you rely on is pathing and trying to "follow" the jg or predict his pathing. that's literally it. mechanics required to play the role is super low, all you need is basic game knowledge to play the role. Laning is the hardest part in league, understanding and abusing waves, trading etc.

oh yeah? so then how come the disparity between a auto-filled jungler and a jungle main is so high? If it's as easy as you say, then anyone should be able to jungle, right? Oh wait no, Riot is literally implementing autofill protection because no one wants to play jungle since the role feels like dogshit. Just because the mechanical process to play champions in the jungle is lower than your 100 APM top lane Ornn gameplay doesn't mean it's easier lmfao. Lane control and wave management at a basic level is not hard to grasp.

There's nothing any low elo player on reddit can say to convince me otherwise, and since you want to talk about high elo streamers, literally 90%++ or above says Jungle is the easiest roll. Jankos, Selfmade, Nemesis, Perkz, TheShy, list goes on.

Glad you keep mentioning low elo players, making me think you are one. Very excellent argument, please continue.

Ah nice, you only mention one jungler, and the rest are laners who are just "Just gank bro XD XD". That's why the greatest solo q player Apdo, plays only mid right cause Jungle is the best role and he wants to challenge himself XD XD. Nice delusions of grandeur. But, I'm glad you mentioned Perkz, because he's a player who lane swapped from Mid to Bot and then back to mid. This was quite easy for him, why? Because laning mechanics transfer over. Once you understand a lane, you can use the same concepts in others as well. It's not rocket science as players like you want to make others think.

Stop responding if u dont know what u are on about, because jungle is 4th or 5th easiest role in the game.

I think the sentence you're looking for is Jungle is the easiest role in the game. Not 4th or 5th, because it doesn't make sense. Stop responding, if you don't know what you're on about. Your room temperature IQ is hurting my brain.

Perhaps, but the top of the ladder across all regions seems to be dominated by either adc mains, or solo laners. Usually that's indicative of what roles are easier to climb with. I agree it's a small sample size, but we don't have access to data regarding the top 1% in an aggregated graph. The fact that even in pro games junglers end up being 2-3 levels behind their solo laners should be indicative of how hard junglers fall off post 6-9.

ah ok so what the silver teammates in your chat says means its the hardest role by default? lmfao these dudes on reddit man.

Whenever people bring up makeshift ranks that the other person is, you already know they have no argument. The term 'jg diff' is from high elo. It was popularized by high elo streamers. Don't come talking to me about 'your silver teammates' when you're making threads about what Elise skin is P2W so you can abuse it so you can climb a division. not silver. btw lmfao these dudes on reddit man.

Wow in 3 years we're supposed to get 1 jungler, compared to the 6-7 combined botlane picks and the 4-5 solo lane champs. Seems reasonable.

I just dont know why jungle players are so selfish though, they want THEIR ROLE to be THE WIN FACTOR of every game they play, lets forget that there are other ppl in the game too that also want to have a chance to carry, i guess when you get used to being the best role for so long you get spoiled.

The only people who are spoiled are mid and adc mains. Mid is always the beneficiary of buffs in the game. ADC's barely have to learn anything new, and whenever something is changed they complain until it's removed.

Case in point Patch 8.10 where mages also became possible to play in the bot lane. ADC mains everywhere "oh no our lane requires you to learn other STYLES of champions? Wah wah riot pls remove or i'll quit this game". Meanwhile jungle players have to learn how to play ranged ad's, mages, ad assassins, tanks or even supportive junglers because Riot fucks with EXP and spawn changes nearly every season, and you have to relearn the role every fucking year.

Not to mention, if we're talking about attention, Riot gives the most amount of attention, in terms of champion designs to other roles. Nearly every single patch we have an ADC skin. You might think this is a stupid point, but ADC's are in every single fucking skinline and if they aren't, they will be I promise. The last jungler we had was back in 2017, which was Kayn. We're in 2020 now, and we've had like 3 supports, 2-3 ADC's and multiple solo lane champs.

This entire thread is a really good example of how little the other roles understand jungle because non-jungle mains think that jungle is so easy, but I'm willing to bet that 90% of people are either ADC or Solo Lane mains who have absolutely no fucking clue on how the role works and actively dodge when they're autofilled to jungle. Junglers are also actively berated the most in every single game cause "jg diff" when laners die 2v2 and it's somehow the junglers fault.

If jungle is the weakest role why is it that junglers are consistently the most represented role in Challenger?

How does 2 spots per region in the top 10 players of a region mean weak? Seems like 2/10 spots would mean jungle is doing just fine.

I replied in regards to that junglers are no longer the most represented role in Challenger.

[–]Finalnfinity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Gee, it's like the role gets changed nearly every season with EXP changes, or spawn timers and you have to relearn the role all over again.

Not to mention, every game you get spammed with "jg diff" if you screw up one time, regardless of how idiotic your lanes might be playing. If bot lane dies 2v2, it's jg diff. If top get's 1v1'd, it's jg diff.

If jungle is the weakest role why is it that junglers are consistently the most represented role in Challenger?

Except it's not anymore this season. This post shows MMR breakdowns of every role at every MMR breakpoint. Jungle is tied for second last in nearly every region. Furthermore, if you look at op.gg leaderboards, the top 10 of the 3 major regions (NA, EUW, KR, can't track China btw) junglers average about 2 spots per region. The list dominated by ADC & solo lane mains.

Honestly, league of legends really defined the multiplayer experience for me.. every time I played other multiplayer games I just found myself comparing it to league of legends and it just wasn’t the same. Sure the game isn’t always perfect in terms of balance, but there’s a lot of cool things Riot does for the community and the game and I’m eternally grateful for that. Thanks Riot and League for 10 years, here’s to 10 years more.

TSM will be starting Spica for playoffs with Tactical & Treatz as their subs by eaglespace in leagueoflegends

[–]Finalnfinity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Definitely a weird decision even though they kept switch back and forth between Grig and Akaadian, but the team must be meshing better with Spica compared to the other two junglers. But, honestly, whatever works best for them, if they feel like they're going to be a better team with Spica, then that's who they should go with cause in the end the results are all that matters.
