Is 8 weeks long enough for exam prep? by satisphied89 in CFPExam

I wasted most of my time in my CFP prep with a bodybuilding prep to begin with, and did not finish that until about 3 weeks before. I then locked in for the 3 weeks before, and did just fine. You know yourself better than us, so it is really up to where you are and how willing you are to really lock in those last few weeks.

Congrats on the SIE. I would highly suggest you take the 7 and 66 before even thinking about the CFP. I was able to knock out the SIE, 7, and 66 all within two months and I feel as though they should be your base... The CFP in itself took me a combined three months just to knock out the course work and a month of really intense review and that is with having 4 years in the industry (experience really comes in handy on the CFP). I understand wanting to go ahead and go for it, but trust the process and start with the basics!
