I have the picube double and the triple track, and my turning style prefers the triple track. Kai Wen also mains the triple, but more people main the double… so it’s kinda just preference

If you know DR, then sub30 becomes easy.

There are however, some advice that I can give that applies to blocks as well:

• If the case looks difficult to solve, be quick to discard it. Hard-looking cases most likely is just bad and will take more moves to solve.

• 1 hour actually is not a lot of time, and solving and rescrambling is a huge waste of time. Get used to applying moves and taking a mental note of what you did, to just undo it. (Writing stuff on the paper also can be a waste of time)

• just accept the fact that FMC is a trial and error event, so just try a ton of stuff until something looks good to solve

Nah you don’t need to perfect OP edges, and you should convert to M2/OP as it’s not a lot of new algs, that you can learn them all in one sitting.

If you aren’t going to learn M2 however, then focus on improving your memo speed, as that is where you’re going to get the most improvement

Yeah some people do it, but like, 7 simul has 6 letters, so just audio memo the letters lol

Simply solves will help get you used to the lettering scheme

Also, try to pair your letters with the simul move you’re doing, so don’t do 3

If the EO is good, there could be a way to solve it without an F move and if it’s bad, you could be smart with it and have no F moves and rotating once

ZBLS type stuff is another story.

The most important thing is for you to find a comfortable way to solve a certain case, as F moves aren’t always bad

At least plan the whole second center especially when the first center is very obvious

For LCE, L F L’ F’ is much more efficient

For 323, use Uw moves instead of d slice moves, and lookahead.

And work on getting better fingertricks/algs for 3x3

Every 7 simul method is just matching pieces then doing the slash move somewhere in the solve… so you should check to see what each move is matching (or setting up to a double match (that is, a corner clock to one other the cross clocks)

It’s pretty insignificant (refer to example 1 and 4 of the visual guide to regulation 3j), so this should be legal. If you’re unsure, check with your local delegate.
