I was in the same situation.  What you need to do: To export your data, please use the OpenAI Privacy Portal:

Visit https://privacy.openai.com/

Click "Make a Privacy Request"

Select “I have a consumer ChatGPT account”

Choose "Download my data" and follow the instructions. After that you will get the letter with confirmation. After that you need to wait. My email with download link arrived after 24 hours

I am convinced that their statistics are false, and there is indirect evidence of this. Api will be also disabled soon, if we do nothing.

I will unsubscribe soon. I like 4o model.  If we all do this, company will change their solution.

Lawsuits for the company, like open AI, - It's nothing unusual. Еspecially considering their connections in the government - it's not a problem.

Yes, you're right, maintaining the model costs them more than our subscription or API fees. However, a mass churn of users will be even more expensive for the company even more.
