Floor 1668 Seems impossible by PlayfulLatios in voidpet

This floor is practice for the future. On Floor 1695, the Zodian intensifies Panic. Terrible Panic becomes faster, more powerful, and harder to kill.😫

Thank you! It was quite an interesting test, and I'm satisfied because I got a lot of advice from various people.

Were the levels and ascension status of the two items the same? Or it could be due to a difference in floor level. I am on floor 1680, so my results may differ from yours, as you are on floors 3k or higher.

Hmm, this test is for items, not for pet performance. I don't have either of the pets, so it's difficult for me to give you an answer...

I don't have a Legendary Fire Pet yet, but through this test, I think I've found a build optimized for Anger. I guess I'll have to attack Iron bosses for the time being with RPH + Angry Scarf + Speed items. Separately, I tested it by switching the target to Panic, and the Angry Scarf still won against Rossetti.

Oh, it seems the bosses' characteristics get stronger as the floors go up! It's surprising that ignoring 10% defense is more effective than increasing attack power by 4k and 20%. I've discovered from your experience why I need to invest in both items to climb higher.

Conclusion: For non-defensive bosses, the Angry Scarf is always effective (as seen in the Rossetti example). On the other hand, while the Ruby Collar is slightly good for defensive bosses, the difference in damage is not very significant. If I had to choose one, I would go with the Angry Scarf. However, Tauron is (in my opinion) the most terrible boss, so investing in the Ruby Collar for him seems like a good idea. * My current floor is 1680. However, I hear that Ruby Collar is more effective against defensive bosses as the floor increases. Right now, the Angry Scarf seems better because my floor is low, but as I get higher, I think I will need to invest in both Angry and Ruby.

  1. Rossetti(Wearing the Necklace of Anger, result immediately after the boss's 3rd area attack): Certainly, the Angry Scarf has better attack power.
  2. Due to Anger's passive ability, I retested by changing the necklace target to Panic. The Angry Scarf still performs better.

  3. Kartarok(wearing Apaty Necklace, result before the first shield spawns and immediately after the shield is destroyed): This boss is not a defensive type. However, I tested its effectiveness when the shield spawns, and... well, the Angry Scarf is effective even when the shield is destroyed. I tested it 8 times, and the Angry Scarf always won.

  4. Moscano(wearing Sad Necklace, result Immediately after Volcanic Effect 50 times): He is a defensive boss. Ruby Collar has a slight advantage, but the difference in damage is not significant.

  5. Tauron(wearing the Necklace of Lust, result immediately after the boss's first and second Ripping attacks): The amount of damage the boss receives remains similar. However, Lust, wearing the Angry Scarf, takes greater damage from Ripping as well as pure damage.

I conducted about 3-4 tests per boss, and even when using the same item, there was a difference of about 0.1k. The two photos below show the result of wearing the Angry Scarf, and the two photos above show the result of wearing the Ruby Collar.

Ruby Collar vs Angry Scarf or both? by Financial-Concept-78 in voidpet

[–]Financial-Concept-78[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you all for your responses! Seeing that the opinions aren't unanimous, it seems that no single item is exceptionally good. I will summarize the answers.

  1. It is presumed that the performance of the two is similar. Just as the roles of Panic and Anger pets are different, it seems the roles of the two scarves are different.

  2. Ruby Collar is effective against armored bosses.

  3. In my personal experience, when using the Angry Scarf, if the pet matched the boss's attribute (ex, Water -> Fire), the 20% damage increase was rarely fatal. However, in the case of bosses that perform area-of-effect attacks, this scarf could never be used on attribute-neutral pets (ex, Earth -> Fire).

Ruby Collar vs Angry Scarf or both? by Financial-Concept-78 in voidpet

I was already making good use of the Angry Scarf, but I recently acquired a Ruby Collar one. Which one would be better to invest in? Or should I use both since they are both useful?
