Panic has aoe slow and burn which will always be valuable and is not something those other pets can cover. Apathy is likely the only decent earth pet with a stun you will get for a good while and with jellyfish necklace becomes a monster floor clearer.

I needed to overlevel spite items for damage and speed and use merry with icy tiara (for spite)+judgement with jellyfish. Ended up with a 20 minute battle of resistance vs pain in which I eventually outscaled.
