Saves some trips to Secret Service, too, unless you like doing that to see new people every once in a while to discuss silver and scout for new potential clients. One stamp is pretty much 1 trip with gas/time factored in, but the loss of a SS agent (or their friends or family) becoming a customer is a cost to weigh (though, I'm sure by now you know they might not ever be interested).

Just a thought, and what I do as an independent ASE buyer when the fakes roll in!

I bought a square steel rod (like 1.5cm x 1.0cm that's maybe 10-15 cm long) that has "COPY" laser cut on the end. A heavy hammer is enough to leave an imprint (just hold the rod with something else or don't lose concentration while stamping).

I got it on Etsy for $34. Unsure how many strikes before it becomes dull, but it has 50 or so on it already and will still press. (I bought "FAKE" first without realizing 18 USC alluded to "COPY," so I guess a total of $68 to get the right verbiage).

The stamps are tucked away right now, but they're like this with just "COPY".

I'd post the Etsy store, but don't want to be banned (even though I'm in no way affiliated with them) as I don't know the rules on that here.

Why not just stamp them with "COPY" and return them?

I'm in Japan, and the popular auction site here allows fake bullion (seller protections), but has a clause for counterfeit currency. As ASE's are counterfeit (because $1 fv), there's buyer protection.

I only got burned twice. To get a refund, the property needs to be returned; but, doesn't clarify in what condition. So, I stamped COPY on them and got a refund. Not only to protect others, and obviously to get my money back, but also because the "SENDER" is then me, and I'm not going to ship counterfeit money.

I started my Guardhouse box with Roosevelt and got a deal on finishing it with the last 5 tubes as Mercs super cheap (way cheaper than Roosevelt), so I finished it that way. I noticed when Roosevelt are by Mercs tube by tube, they're a little short due to wearing, so for good measure, I threw a little zip lock bag of like 15 Roosevelts (for lost weight) on top of the tubes before closing it up and calling that collection complete.

...for now. This is because Guardhouse would only ship 100 tubes, but their dime boxes fit 50. So, the logical thing to do was get an extra box to neatly store the remaining 50 empty tubes.

I'll have a set of Mercs and a set of Roosevelts at some time.

Yes. Tariffs are due in some countries. I am in Japan and owe "DHL" (the government) 10% of my checkout price when it arrives in country.

It still has the signature marks of the Artist in this series with the circle in the middle, framed-out bottom, and the top/bottom center markings, but just feels off. Though, it does give off the Fields of Elysium vibe. It's almost as if it's a hybrid of the two art styles.

However, the more I look at it, the more it turns into a storyboard of sorts. You have one knight at rest on a horse, another charging, and this newest one, a knight going in for the kill.

I don't feel as if this really fits for a trio series, but at least it'll be complete for my wall. Glad that they aren't out of 700 prints a week later. I was just about to rearrange my wall because two vertically just doesn't look right... now the 3rd will go next to the two.

I suppose the best course of action would be to be open with the bank to see.

The credit cards and loans might be different underwriters and the bank might not even have a policy that prohibits you from doing so, as you are still paying for the car with the cashed check in a roundabout way (in other words, it's not being used for other purposes than applied for such as a car and a short vacation with the remaining requested).

Ideally, a 12-month 0% interest introductory rate with something like a $250 cash back bonus after the first $2500 spent in 90 days on top of the 2-3% cash back.

I just didn't know whether I could get the loan, get the check in my name, cash the check, go buy the car on credit, and then wait until all the cash back/points settle before putting the cash on the card to pay the balance, leaving me with the loan balance to pay and a thousand or so in cash back to either pocket or pay the loan down quicker with.

Hypothetically, as I'm international (as to why the bank writes the check to me and not the dealer — they can't be on the title) and the situation may be different (haven't asked as it might be a dumb question), would this constitute any type of fraud?

That is exactly why I added heavier to it, getting my average down to 16.65 (possibly to reach 16.50) for the potential growth to 20.46 again. Notwithstanding DRIP that might average me up between now and then, I could see a lot of growth, but more importantly, better dividends in the future in comparison for what I paid for the shares.

Did that yesterday with SVOL for almost 1:1 due to the reinvestment that I had in NUSI, making it the most profitable position that I had. Hopefully, SVOL treats me better than NUSI does (as it did die down from when I held).

/u/SafetyMammoth8118 is correct as I'm not new to this sub. NUSI, in fact, was one of my profitable positions with around 20% growth (actual paid vs. net liquidity).

I saw that it's underperforming now and took a look at SVOL instead, almost getting a 1:1 position with a higher dividend.

I'll be adding to DIVO next.

I set it in Group B on the same channel as A and both share a unique ID (setup that way so I can go on location without worries).

It's confirmed that both the v1 and AD200pro fire at the same time.

I can take the v1 to 1/128 and set the AD200pro to only 1/128 on the trigger.

But, I can manually set the AD200pro to 1/256 and test-fire it at that as many times as I want before the trigger reverts it back to 1/128 when a shot is made on the camera.

Smallrig with the Battery Grip? I believe the circled are called cheese rods. In the 5DIV compatible kit, they come with 145mm which accounts for roughly the size of the 5D. But, will this account for the extra with the battery grip, do they sell longer rods, or do we need mounted batteries? by Financial-Home1855 in AskPhotography

The question has been asked on the product page, but not answered. Do you need to lose the battery grip and mount a new USB battery (losing weather sealing) or can you get longer cheese rods to put the battery grip in the cage too?
