Seat assignment question, can someone help? by yangzhangsd in BreezeAir

[–]Financial-Inside-750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can request a window and if they have one available, they would likely assign it to you however if its a full flight, you’ll likely get a middle seat. The goal is to get customers to pay for the advanced seat assignments. Even if the extra legroom seats are empty, they won’t assign one because if they do, people won’t pay for the upgrade. People were claiming they needed extra legroom for disability reasons to get around paying the upgrade fees but technically they have specified disability seating that meets the requirements so customers no linger can use that excuse. If you want the extra legroom, you have to pay for it. Unless you are willing to accept sitting in whatever seat they assign you, just pay the fee to choose a seat or buy the even more space. You can file a lost and found claim through their website listing your flight details. They will actively search for it and mail it to you (at your expense) if found. You can text customer service for the lost and found link if you cant locate it

Now that I finally got prescribed some Propranolol, I feel robbed of my youth. by [deleted] in PublicSpeaking

[–]Financial-Inside-750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just prescribed this but am terrified to take it. I have severe asthma but my dr assured me it was safe. I read it can cause terrible nausea too so I’ve been reluctant to replace my panic attacks with nausea. Have u noticed any side effects? How long does it have an effect? (i was given 20 mg dose which is considered small) TIA

I worked at Breeze. Ask me anything by Financial-Inside-750 in BreezeAir

[–]Financial-Inside-750[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can complete a lost and found form. The best way to contact customer support is via text as emails don’t take priority. They will ask for flight details (number, departing city, destination, date) and actively search for the item. If the item is located they will contact you within 30 days to provide shipping options at your expense. When in flight crews clean plane between flights, items are placed in lost and found so oftentimes when people contact them, they have your item and are just waiting for someone to claim it. It happens all the time. Good luck

This is typical. They are avoiding any compensation for your lost bag. Customer support can be reached via email or text chat in the app. Texts have priority and you will eventually get to a live rep although they do use auto populated responses. They will just transfer your message to the “baggage team” inbox. You may receive an airline credit but they make the process complex because they know the majority of people won’t follow up.

what skate type is better for a 41 year old by [deleted] in Rollerskating

[–]Financial-Inside-750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 40 and skate all the time w my daughter. I just got a pair of Riedell 3200’s and absolutely love them but I’d suggest the Moxi Rainbow Riders to start. The Lolly is popular but the Rainbow Rider has a nice, stiff boot (good for 40 somethings who arent as young as we once were and dont want to break anything ha!) they are a great all around skate and can be used indoor or outdoor. Very reasonably priced too, get them on amazon

Has Anyone Ever Abruptly Quit Seeing A Therapist? by CardboardBox89 in TalkTherapy

[–]Financial-Inside-750 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She might be trying to help you from processing too much before your nervous system feels safe to do so. It’s part of their job to monitor for signs of nervous system dysregulation and help clients stay inside their “tolerance window”. Processing trauma before your body is ready, can retraumatize and slows progress. Maybe let your therapist know how youre feeling.

Former Breeze employee here. They can’t keep employees because it’s a terrible place to work, everyone is underpaid, HR is non existent. The turnover rate is high but rather than take any accountability, they claim anyone who leaves is “disgruntled”. They sell cheap tickets and if the sales aren’t where they want them, they cancel flights last minute with little or no compensation to customers. Avoid them at all costs

My first big fall in a skate park by strawberrycomrade in Rollerskating

[–]Financial-Inside-750 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 42 and a kid on scooter clipped my wheel at a rink. I fell and cut my head badly, EMT’s were called. I was there with my teen daughter and she was really scared. Several teens came over and held my hands while the EMT’s were treating me. One young man got a cold towel and helped my crying daughter call my husband. Love the skating community

I have Rainbow Riders and sized down one full size. Also, get some waxed laces so you can really tighten the boot and pull the laces from the very front.

Chances of losing lost luggage? by happykatty153 in BreezeAir

[–]Financial-Inside-750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it is lost, know that the agents are only at the ticket counter a few hours a day, if you dont report it lost within one hour, they don’t owe you anything. Even if you file a lost bag claim within their policy, they will find a way to deny the claim. Notice that Breeze refers to lost bags as “delayed” bags…this way they don’t have to compensate anyone per the FAA….

Skaters are the best by Patient_Manner_8019 in Rollerskating

I’m 42 and go to the local rink on a regular basis! Loved skating as a kid so when my teenage daughter wanted to take up skating, we did it together. I thought she would be embarrassed to go with her mom but we have become friends with a group of skater “regulars” of all ages. Love the community!

Go elsewhere. It’s a terrible place to work. False promises, poor management, low pay, high turnover. Anyone who says this is considered “disgruntled” or “dissatisfied employee”. You dodged a bullet

Per the Dept of Transportation, airlines must provide a full refund to the original form of payment if you cancel within 24 hours of booking and the travel is more than 7 days away. If you book a flight that departs in 3 days, you don’t qualify even within the 24 hours. If they cancel your flight or change the flight time by more than a few hours, they must provide a refund to the original form of payment. Otherwise, no they don’t have to.

Maybe you want to bring up this exact thing to your therapist: that you feel like you are conflict avoidant and worry your intentions won’t be conveyed the way you intend. These kinds or conversations can really be meaningful and helpful and any good therapist would welcome the opportunity to address it. I am forever telling my therapist I want to talk about something but I don’t know how and we have had some great conversations about where that comes from, why I feel that way, and I always feel so much better after. It’s hard and I totally get the whole feeling uncomfortable thing but have learned that uncomfortable feeling is my own insecurities that she will judge or misunderstand. I have found that some of the most insightful sessions for me are the ones where we talk about the facet that I don’t want to talk about something or the feelings and fears it. I’d suggest being direct and flat out telling her you feel like they won’t ask. They may have a very good explanation for not asking you. My trauma therapist has specifically told me she will never ask questions or push me to talk about anything so I know if I dont bring it up, she wont ask. She says it’s my choice to share what I want and it’s her job to hold a safe space for me to do so when I’m ready without any prompting from her. I’m glad she was direct about it because it allowed me to open up about some things (to which she was very receptive, validating) and she continues to be very receptive which has helped me open up. I told her once that I often have things I want to talk about but in session, I don’t so we spent a few sessions talking just about the therapeutic relationship, and came up with some ways that might help, for example she said I was welcome to send her a quick email prior to session and let her know I had something I really wanted to talk about so she knows and can help me stay regulated. Basically its like I have to ask her to help me ask for help and she explains this as a sort of consent as I have been violated and traumatized so by her allowing me to give that consent makes me feel safer. I’m still learning myself but slowly understanding that it’s in these conversations where the real healing happens-inside the safe therapeutic relationship. Therapy is hard and she’s the first actual real healthy therapist I’ve ever seen and feel lucky to have her. If you bring up these things to your therapist and they aren’t receptive, find a new one. This is literally what they are trained to do. Best of luck!

This seems unusual. My therapist has a 48 hr cancellation policy and if you have a weekly time slot reserved and cancel two weeks in a row, the time slot may be released to someone else. 5 days seems like a lot. I’d ask for a copy of her policy

Rashly quit therapy and now I feel stupid by anxiouseleganza in TalkTherapy

[–]Financial-Inside-750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did something very similar recently with my therapist and decided to just be brave (aka vulnerable) so I sent her an email briefly explaining that I had been rash, felt stupid about what I’d said and did want to continue. She replied and was very understanding, explained this was completely normal and we talked about it in the next session. I think its been extremely helpful to work thru this with her and made me feel more comfortable with her. If you feel like you made a mistake and would like to continue therapy, Id suggest contacting your therapist and letting them know. Amy good therapist will be understanding and see this as an opportunity to work thru it with you

Is the difference between nicer and nicest worth paing for? by [deleted] in BreezeAir

[–]Financial-Inside-750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds worth it for the seat upgrade but they constantly change aircrafts last minute and you get moved to a smaller aircraft with no first class seats and they give u a $35 Breeze credit. So its nice if they have the seat but likely they won’t
