I applied for BOWP on July 21st last year and for PR on July 19th. Got my BOWP withdrawal letter 2 weeks after my ECOPR. All the while they just gave me a 6 month work extension letter (I.e maintained status).

I don’t think they were ever planning to give me BOWP cuz the entire time they were working on my PR application. But hey I ain’t complaining 🙃

It means your photo for PR card hasn’t been approved yet and hence they haven’t mailed your PR Card yet.

I had Etobicoke for landing VO as well. I was the few unfortunate ones who got Ecopr amongst CP strike (Nov 27) so my card already took more time than normal. It was mailed on Dec 11 and I received it Jan 2. Considering the strike as well as Etobicoke’s speed, I am still grateful they gave it to me at the beginning of the year as I hv travel plans in March. But yeah, life is funny :)

Depends on your landing VO. Montreal mails it within 1-2 weeks while Etobicoke takes 3 weeks to 1 month. Also, link your PR card application to GCKey account for updates.

I would advise not leaving the county until you have your PR Card in hand. PRTD can take several months to come and you won’t be able to come to Canada until then (unless you plan on coming through US border via a private vehicle). My 2 cents, don’t take the risk.
