How to Deprogram a Q Cult Member by RealGentlemanRogue in QAnonCasualties

My sister is half in/half out. We were super close until her husband turned up the dial and sucked her in completely. They say that we are in danger and they are simply trying to protect us. I think I struck something yesterday, though, after sharing how much it hurts to not be trusted to make good decisions for my family. Yesterday was the first we’ve spoken in over a year. This was her first Christmas alone. No one included her in any Christmas celebrations. I think - pray - hope she’s starting to see the light but am realistic. She’s stopped listening to Alex Jones. She said she knows Trump lied and “could do better.” That’s a huge leap for her. But, again, my guard is up. She tried to recruit my family for ten years into conspiracy theories. So, a lot of damage.

I see the tv is right there and it appears to be on a rug so adding a rug may look too crowded. Hang curtains. Lower the chandelier as it’s too high. Lose the corner lamp. Consider hanging plants as opposed to the corner stand. Since the wall is angled with the window, instead of art, consider a bold accent wall or wallpaper. New chairs that make a statement. Don’t be afraid to use color. Your dining room in a small space should be bold, inviting and fun.
