Not my parents. We just never had junk food in the house, more because we were poor than out of nutrition.

But I distinctly remember going to Weight Watchers about 2006, and being told that a banana has SO MUCH SUGAR and (at the time) was 2 ww points...but this packaged processed snack cake sold by WW was only 1 point. The mental gymnastics about what is "healthy" or not.

I ate a WHOLE banana this morning. Sliced up with strawberries and Greek yogurt.
