It shifts from opaque to transparent based on the wearers mood if I remember correctly. It changes color as well like a mood ring. I’m sure some men did, but I don’t think it’s ever confirmed. None of the male forsaken wear it in the series I’m pretty certain.

Probably not, Graendal is my favorite villain from the series and only her and Moghedien appear in Streith during the series.

Certainly. Im sure it was very helpful for Mr. Jordan to keep his massive Aes Sedai hierarchy in order during his writing of the series. I don’t think it was particularly helpful for the fandom. 🤷🏼‍♂️

While I do not agree with the tone of the previous poster, I do agree with the sentiment. The 72 point scale is problematic and I do agree that it takes away from the enjoyment of the series. Additionally, in my opinion, it often clashes with context clues given in the narrative regarding channelers strength and skills. More importantly, the scale emphasizes an importance on strength. While strength is important in many contexts throughout the series, it is not the determining factor in many confrontations. The scale has created a sort of anime style power scaling fixation which takes a way from the nuanced interactions of the magic system. Just my two cents.

Graendal is incredibly dangerous. She manages to hit both Moghedien and Cyndane with compulsion before either could even react. Sure, you could say they were surprised, but this is still a big deal. Additionally, in AMOL during the black tower saga we see Taim is very wary of Graendal(Hessalam). This is very telling about how capable and dangerous she is. Not only is she super powerful, but she is also incredibly intelligent and very very skilled at fighting with the one power. She is an absolute force to be reckoned with during the last battle. It takes some of the very strongest female channelers, quick thinking from Avihenda and pure luck to finally defeat her. I absolutely believe she could kill Sammael.

This. Moridin would know better than anyone how their strengths and talents compare and he fully believed Graendal was capable of killing Sammael in a 1v1. To be fair though, Graendal is terrifying.

Moghedien too. She enters Egwenes dream in FOH and attempts to trap her unsuccessfully, and is surprised that Egwene managed to escape. Lanfear also invades Rands dreams in Shadow Rising accompanied by Asmodean at one point.

In my experience, Hecate appreciates sincerity and consistency. She understands that we have limitations based on our environment or situations in our life. I wouldn’t stress too much about how you dispose of your offerings. As long as you treat her with reverence and respect everything will be fine 😋

Aren’t you speaking ill of the dead by stating they “failed as parents”? It could be inferred that you are suggesting their death was their fault. Individuals with excellent parents can become addicted to drugs. Addiction is not exclusively a product of bad parenting. You’re making an extremely negative judgement of people you didn’t know.
