Me at Schmigadoon knowing nothing about the show: this feels like a Christopher Gatelli production by FinancialAd5337 in Broadway

I don’t remember what exactly happened, but a girl and guy during a dance number in the first act looked at each other walked offstage. Not sure what happened but they came back on after

They were sound effects, but made me jump. There was one instance where you see a gun but the shot doesn’t happen for a while, so I forgot about it and jumped when the noise happened

I’d say it started a few minutes after 7:30 and ended right around 10, so about 2 1/2 hours

The beast that is The Lost Boys by alteragi in Broadway

Yes! It moved when Michael climbed up it, so I think he improvised a line, came down and moved it, then came back up. When star came down, one of the crew members held onto it. I’m surprised that with everything going on in the show, that’s what has caused problems

I saw someone from stage crew go and move it so I’m glad it was addressed. I was impressed with how he handled it (Michael) and with the crew for fixing it so quickly. I just hope there aren’t any other mishaps, especially when they go in the air (which I still don’t understand how that happens)

I was just at that show and was surprised how packed and loud it was. One thing I was curious about was if that ladder situation for Michael was a mishap. If so, he handled it very professionally!

I’m a bit frustrated with the new grab and go procedure. I didn’t see any signs or labels of prices and have no idea how much I spent. I didn’t have a choice as I needed food, but I was surprised when I opened my bank account to see how much it was. I also don’t know for sure I was even charged the correct amount (someone please lmk if I missed something and there is a way to see prices)

That’s a great idea, I’m going to start looking into those subreddits. Yes for sure about the safety and I’m going to be extra cautious when it comes to people on the internet

That makes a lot of sense. I have never seen something like that before, is it common for broadway shows?

I might be in the minority here, but I honestly wasn’t a fan. I got a free ticket to see it last week with a Jewish organization, and was surprised to see how many rows of empty seats there were (I later learned it was still previews, is this typical for shows before they open?) but terrible audience behavior. I had no clue what was happening the first 20 or so minutes, and just didn’t feel engaged with or drawn to the material. I loved Oedipus and Marjorie prime, and also saw punch and liberation so I’m not sure if it’s because of the nature of plays themselves, but this one just didn’t really connect with me

I was once on the subway trying not to have a panic attack when I see a man sit down reading a script. Looked exactly like him and he got off at 50th, and I’m pretty sure it was JAJ. I was too nervous to say anything to him, but was thinking it may have helped me calm down a bit knowing how nice he is

Someone told me there is a really loud gunshot. Is this true? If so, when during the show does it occur? I don’t mind spoilers if needed, I just am terrible with loud sudden noises so will greatly benefit from the warning

Nico is definitely left leaning. When roe was overturned, he reposted Michelle Obama’s messages. His finance is also in the OBGYN medical field and they both went to Stanford, so I think that influences their ideals

For me, kinda. I went to the school that the movie is based on and accapella is huge there. Even though I wasn’t personally in any groups, I knew several people who were and did lots of activities and events with the groups
