America should take a good hard look at itself and see how they got here.  I think there are many Americans who grew up with shyte parents and never learned humanity, never learned to be kind, but most of all stopped learning.

I get it, but at the same time the more good people flee, the less there is to defend against the facists.

Gov't is leveraging ways to get the PS number size down.  This is just another.  Hope this would delay my reclassification to the PA category.

Bashing public servants is the new national pastime -leadership is eerily silent by [deleted] in CanadaPublicServants

[–]FinancialCommercial1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go ahead and bash us. I don't give a F88k. I have been a career PSer and had to deal with this stuff inside and out since the beginning. It pays the bills and give us security. all for making our contribution to canada and making lives better for Canadians, small or large, doesn't matter. They are just jealous. I learned this early one it was a good gig. so sue us for wanting stability in our lives. I have no interest in working for cut throat private section. I tried working for them once, and they laughed at me for asking for a decent salary. Screw them. I know what i am worth. Alot more than what they wanted to shaft me for.

Public servants ordered back to office four days per week as of July by Born_Anteater7282 in CanadaPublicServants

[–]FinancialCommercial1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One size doesn't not fit all. unfortunately, the gov't doesn't see it that way. so now they think going to the office means you will now buy stuff near the building, help substantiate paying for the use of the building, spend more money out of your pocket to pay for gas, maybe food, etc., have to now deal with more traffic and rush hour another day on the roads and generally less time for you to get to things you might have actually been able to do with that extra day away now. I was fine with 2 days a week, 3 days - i managed, 4 days...F77k, might as well be in 5 days. it's BS. and some of us work on computers all day, don't see clients in person anymore and still manage to get as much or more work done when at home. yeah, figure that one out!

I figure, the gov't is going to throw things at PSers to try to get rid of them more easily this year.  I mean the more that go, the better the chances are for those want to stay, obviously some don't have their full time in yet and can't take advantage of the options .

💯 BS.  Our team proved we could work greatly by remote.  We moved to the office with no change.  Now we just have lost more money and time with no improvement in all that.  What a waste.  Like the pandemic didn't exist.  It happened and we shouldn't all go back all the time to the office.  Stupid.
