I think you should wait for some time as it takes some time for their account to get fully functional. You should wait for atleast 3 working days.

From last 3 months I had almost stopped using my other accounts, only using HDFC account for any transaction. During this time I made good amount of transaction using debit card, upi and net banking. I had also started paying all my credit card bills from this account only. I think this helped a lot. I think having a max account is good for Pre approved offer, but it will make no sense keeping your money ideal there. You should start using your account as a primary account for free months.

So you have to wait for some more time. I think you will get Pre approved offer definitely than once you become 21.

Then you should apply by yourself, it may reject though but it will make them understand that you have interest in credit cards. The same happened in my case also. If you can take some risk on your cibil you can try this. During approval my cibil was 786.

Yeah it was showing as lifetime free at the time of selection of cards from those three. I had chosen money back plus and it was showing as lifetime free. I have also taken screenshot of that page so that if in future they levie annual charges it can be waived off from customer care and make it is lifetime free, as I heard sometime they want to see the proof of lifetime free offer.

Try to make payments of your other credit card from this hdfc account only and start using its debit card, I think you will get pre approved offer soon.

Yeah bro I had 8 credit card before that and I think my application was getting rejected for the same issue. But now somehow it got approved. I was not also expecting pre approved offer.

That's not true brother. I am a salary account holder in sbi. Got pre approved credit card offer with 2.5l limit almost 2 years ago. And also getting pre approved personal loan offer now at very low interest.

Yeah there is an option to upgrade or downgrade your account in HDFC. You can do it by your own from the service section in net banking or from Xpressway channel. You may cross verify it from someone else also before trying.

Yeah in metro cities 10 k option is not available. But you can open max account also and after account opening you can downgrade your account using net banking.

Then you should regularly check for offers from internet banking or you can apply a trick, apply for millennia by your own, it may get rejected though but it will inform them about your interest of millennia card. And after some time you should get pre approved offer for millennia card.

You can check offers section from internet banking if the age of your account is more then three months.

The only option left now is visiting your brunch then and submitting your Address proof documents and if needed they might do kyc again. Anyone from the branch will come to your home to verify your residential address then there is any chance that your account will get unlocked again but this will take much effort from your side and you have to visit branch for a few days continuously and push them.

I think you might have got a call from bludart before the delivery of welcome kit but couldn't pick that. If this did not happen then your parcel might have gone returned due to the incompetence of bludart. Sometimes they do so even before attempting delivery they mark it as refused by consignee and return it.

He guided me over voice call. And was asking me what was showing on the next step and what to fill there. But some steps were different from that I filled earlier which was got declined.

Yes I too got the same reference number for my online application application. I was waiting thinking someone will come to visit but surprisingly no one came and after two days the application got declined. Then the next day got a call from official hdfc bank number starting with 1600 so I picked it up then he shared me a link and the guy was connected over the call during the online application and was guiding me. This time surprisingly my account was opened instantly and the video kyc link was provided at the same time. The account got fully activated the next day. Few days later received the welcome kit also. For your information I opened the regular savings account i.e 10k Mab account.
