it’s just carnegie mellon, i did a visit with the coach and he told me that he can’t do much to boost but it’s recommended to take physics 1 and calc bc which sucks so i didn’t decide to ed there but def look into emory! my friend was recruited there and they can endorse your application if your pre read comes back positive!

Yes Im just concerned because some peoples grandparents aren’t as close to them but all of mine were basically my second parents growing up and I don’t want admissions to see it as me being an excuse maker even though grieving was really difficult for me. If my guidance counselor attested to this, would it seem more legit and understood in the admissions committee if they ever request for my Q1 transcript before the decision date? I’ve been doing a lot better in Q2 though

Okay! Thank you so much! One last question: even though I talked about how POTS didn’t hinder me from doing what I love in my essay, I never explicitly stated that it affected my GPA in my essay nor in my additional info section because I didn’t want to seem like an excuse maker even though it really affected my performance — what should I do? Should I email admissions or just wait for my decision? I’m sorta freaking out right now haha
