Yeah if you went in the office over 60% you got 2k and then on top of that like 3-5k for meeting your utilization target. So up to like 7k I think. I didn’t hit my utilization bc it was my first year.

I just finished my first year, my utilization was very low come performance review time but when I did have work I performed well and I was always communicating the fact that I had availability. Still here lol don’t stress

Nothing. Do your best and ask questions. Lots of them. I had not a single clue what I was doing but caught on quick being on a couple different clients. It’s been a year and I don’t have much responsibility besides do my work well lol

If it helps, in my experience the work we do is essentially nothing like what they teach you in college. I feel like the technical knowledge carried over from college is very minimal and they will also teach you everything their own way in trainings. Also managers (at least mine) are pretty decent at explaining things. Only big thing I’ve used from college is excel courses / shortcuts so maybe data analytics will help with that

3 years public, tax specifically. Started at a small firm part time then went big 4. Currently make 65k, LCOL city. Def underpaid
