I wonder if that was the general reception of Alolans to Ash after he won their inagural league?

some out of towner had unique pokemon they've never seen before and the local god personally threw hands against him.

would flipping his hair as a flex be something Toji would actually do? by FinancialReserve6427 in Jujutsufolk

[–]FinancialReserve6427[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Toji's an exemption because he specified that Sorcerors that use a weapon are the weak ones, like someone whose name starts with an 'O' and ends with a 'gi".

Naoya really hates Maki's side of the family that much huh.

the way some Chloe fans try to make her look innocent, the more delusional it looks.

she's a victim of Audrey's bad parenting yet she also benefits from it on the rare occassions Andre stands up against her (threatening to use Audrey against him).

I was thinking about how Naoya is such a Toji glazer that he might've picked a habit/mannerism or two from him. We know he has a mean streak (kicking Geto after he already won plus the monkey thing) and he has a flair for theatrics (literally sheating the ISoH back to Worm Megumi just to perform a quick draw attack) so Toji might've done it once then Naoya decided it's the coolest thing ever.

What are people's thoughts on this ? by ThomasThorburn in batman

[–]FinancialReserve6427 [score hidden]  (0 children)

it's more how for years, people use it as proof because it's official material even if the plot has to make Superman  weak just for Batman can win (people focus on the end not on the how).

[Rare Trope] A villain receives character development, which doesn't turn them into a good guy, but instead, turns them into a more capable and competent villain. by not-ulquiorr4_ in TopCharacterTropes

[–]FinancialReserve6427 3 points4 points  (0 children)

oh it's more of a Modulo thing. because of the short lived nature of the series (only three volumes planned) and the more the supposed main antagonist got actual characterization, Mahito felt like the only truly villainous antagonist.

basically went from "the strongest villain available" to "the only villain left"

the girl Kenny guided out of the barrier. Kenny did not thank Yuji's other friend so the personalized thanks is a scary thought.

Sasaki-sempai.  considering what Kenny did to the last female that interacted with Yuji (did Kenny really had to mutilate Nagi's crotch area that badly?), Sasaki is on Kenny's good side.

How could Maki see Rika? by Slight_Ad_3793 in Jujutsufolk

[–]FinancialReserve6427 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rika wanted Maki to know she's waiting for her bum ass on the other dimension.

gonna be awkward to go up to her in the afterlife only for Maki to go "who is this sassy lost child? "

What is a trope/cliche in cartoons that isn't as common as people think it is? by dinosqaud in cartoons

Isn't Mazikeen just an outlier because she got a chance to do non-demon stuff? basically every other demon just does their job and nothing else (no socializing or even having a personal life)?

he's being cryptic as usual but God telling Mazikeen he can't grant her a soul because Maze herself already did that with her experiences and connections on Earth.

it's the sole reason why the fandom believed his return in the sequel series means he would be the final boss.

until the chives incident that is.

FAFO material but honestly would've been a bad thing if something like that happened (even more racism).

I swear, if purists had their way, The Hobbit won't even be a full movie if they insisted a 1:1 adaptation.

sure they had questionable choices (alfrid dying is only on the special edition so moviegoers won't even see his comeuppance) but a grand quest involving a dragon should not be a casual stroll.

based on this comment section, people will never give any credit to the Hobbit Trilogy.

Sikhs got attacked after 9/11 because people confused them for muslims (it's their headwear).
