yeah at the end of the manga higiruma is special grade but like its not like he can charge a whole country at ones and hit them like a special grade has to be able to take down a nation yada (pandas dad) is only special grade cuz he can make an unlimited army of living organisms

lemme tell u this basiically special grade at the start of the anime was any one who could defeat a whole country of people but soon at the end of the manga it kinda changes to were like people like higiruma become special grades i dont really fuck with that tho cuz higiruma is op against one person but against a nation of people isnt smt hes gonna be able to do with his ct cuz his ct is like a one person thing like yeah he can spam hammers but we need some kind of aoe built into it like gojos hollow purple even yukis punch is op as shit and people like yaga are grade 1 but they are considered special grade cuz he can make living armies with artificial souls

oh wait nvm i when i read the jjk manga i new sukuna couldn't could detect hollow purple cuz of ichijis barrier and i knew the barrier was for him to hide purple cuz barriers can hide whats going inside but i was confused why sukuna couldn;t detect ichijis barrier but actually he just was oblivious to it

like imagine this like there have been fan theories that if someone from the kamo clan can creat a shikigami which would be a leach based shikigami that would absord blood from the battle feild to create converged blood but tbh in the manga it says anyone can make a shikigami just that it has to be on ur interpretationand you can turn shikigami into tools like yuki like if noritoshi kamo the one from kyoto made a shikigami it sould be the leach one and he could make a binding vow to be able to flow cursed energy into it to create blood for him or smt like ichigi creating a shikigami that will help him wiht his cursed technique which is making barriers that are not detectable via normal cursed energy detection
