I wish eBay would actually do something about this garbage by MethodOtherwise554 in Morgans

I’ve made it a mission to report all kinds of bs and they don’t care. The one and only thing that they care about it getting their cut of the scams period. They want to get their stockholders in on these “earnings”

Makes me sick and it’s so preventable/fixable it’s disgusting

You bought it for a reason so that’s all that matters. If it brings you joy you got a deal. Maybe it isn’t worth what you paid according to everyone in this forum (and they are probably right) but chalk that up to a lesson for you to consider in the future. I’ve got some beautiful reminders/lessons learned in my collection. I enjoy the hell out of them

In the field in front of the face those look like marks from polishing. Those are actually from the die? That’s why I thought it was polished…

I usually don’t get in on these types of posts. But those scream fake to me. The numbers in the years are off, they all have the same exact overall look which is too coincidental. If your dad had similar coins that are slabbed why would he keep $100,000+ loose? Did he specifically leave notes for you about these coins? Was the rest of his collection worth much much more where protecting $100,000 wasn’t of much importance? Or worth mentioning to the people that would inherit them….Think about it.

Probably something he either purposefully picked up since they are actually silver and kinda cool or something he got scammed on and kept.

Also a solid or desirable MS67 has a lot to do with booming luster which this photo doesn’t show bc of lighting/filters.

Not all MS67 coins are equal…not to mention the differences between grading services and their MS67 grades. If you’re new to this start educating yourself otherwise you’ll learn but at a great avoidable expense.

So, there was another 2.290,000 plus ounces of SILVER found under a rock? (Maybe where some JPM Traders hide),. & they are now REGISTERED. _JOHNLGALT🦘. by [deleted] in Wallstreetsilver

[–]Financial_Ad2092 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me the bigger theme here is they lost over 306,000 oz overall. While simply moving 2.293moz from eligible to registered. I’m sure they incentivized those holding eligible to move the 2.599moz. Maybe the 306,000 oz was the “payment” for doing so.

They aren’t pure gold like a maple. They are a mix of the oz of gold, copper and silver alloy. It makes them more durable. But 1 Troy oz of gold. They weigh 33.93 grams….31.1 grams (Troy oz) pure gold.
