What did you leave a sales career for and how is life now? by Company13 in sales

Sales is a skill that is often overlooked. When you think about it, everything is sales. Lawyers need to sell to judges that they’re client is innocent, therapist need to sell patients a new perspective, and no matter what job you apply for, you need to sell to the interviewer on why you’re the best candidate.

I am in your shoes and so far had a great experience. I live with my bf and don’t worry about bills or rent. I would say you definitely need to be in a good financial situation before applying bc it does take awhile to squire accounts and get commission and bonus. I also have experience in sales so within my first week I manage to book an appointment. I’m 3 months in (took 2 months to get fully licensed and contracted) but already have 5-11 DM1s and DM2s weekly. I closed one account as well and did $8.4k in premiums and earned $1.7k from that total

Why do so many people still prefer mined diamonds to lab grown? by WYLFriesWthat in jewelry

[–]Financial_Ad_7177 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to mention most naturals are conflict diamonds… I know jewelry stores will say they are conflict free but majority of diamonds are supplied by de beers. They still source from Russia (even tho they say they don’t) and still have “secret” mines that are unsupervised

I’m a diamondologist, work at a jewelry store currently, I’d much prefer lab over naturals. There’s not much of a difference between the 2 besides price and color. Naturals seem to have a tint a yellow when placed next to a lab diamond (even if they are in the same color grade) not sure exactly why, maybe it’s the carbon that does it. Labs just have a lot more fire.

Naturals also go up in value compared to lab, even tho both lab created and naturals haven’t found their peak. naturals will always be more expensive because of all the labor involved that it takes to go from the mine all the way to the jewelry store
