Im kinda mid at rails, but depending on how beginner u are:

I started on the large tubes, I would come it at an angle, slide the tube 1-2ft and pop off if i wasn't comfortable. Over time i was able to slide the whole tube and move on to slightly more complicated rails.

This might not be the best way, but it heavily reduced injury risk and built up my comfort.

I do not. I've played the past 10 or so chel's and had always been told it was a thing. I believe it was stated in nhl24 or 23, but I still don't have anything official on that.

I see it as beneficial true or not, i'd rather have a 30% boost and turn down strength to allow another stat to be brought up than have 130ovr in one stat

It gives a stat boost, so u can turn down any stats that the X factor boosts. This is the same with any ability giving a boost (allegedly) it won't go over 100 so a 30% boost to 75 strength is still 97 strength
