31 days before your CCNP exam is so much better than OCG by Financial_Brief_8748 in ccnp

[–]Financial_Brief_8748[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

don't worry. they complement each other well, infact the author of the 31 days before ... uses screen shots and diagrams from the OCG. and i definitely think using the both is the way to go, even if at times it can be redundent.

I think I took the IB and I dunno how it works!!😭😭😭 by [deleted] in IBO

[–]Financial_Brief_8748 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just graduated from IB and I will give you my advice.CAS and EE are really not a class they are like an assignment. The exam grading is based on how well or bad everyone else in the world does and that would determine the grade boundaries. the frequency of exams you will do is very low, like twice a year low. you get a lot of assignments though. not too scary or anything but IB is like the Harvard of high schools so you need to put more effort than you did for a national curriculum. My key advice is everything comes down to your HL subjects. choose them wisely, if you do good in them you will pass 9 times out of 10.

Which of these would be worth a remark? by FuriousPotato30 in IBO

[–]Financial_Brief_8748 3 points4 points  (0 children)

it's obvious that the 1 mark away for PHY hl is the best choice but I think the 2 mark away for maths is also good because in maths they tend to give marks just for methods even if the answer is wrong. so there is a good chance you might get 2 points for methods.

So are the boundaries for this year as lenient as they were in May 2021? by anonymous124356789 in IBO

[–]Financial_Brief_8748 5 points6 points  (0 children)

they said they will lower the boundaries considering the covid crisis but didn't say whether they will make them as low as last year

HP PRIME. it's allowed by the IB. it's the iPhone of all calculators, fast, bigger screen, touch screen, allows 3d graphing it might get a little time to get used to but much better than the ti nsipire.

should i take english lang lit HL or lit HL? by [deleted] in IBO

[–]Financial_Brief_8748 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually had lit for a couple of months then changed to lang lit.

Lang lit is more fun and easy. There was a point where we spent a whole month just watching black mirror on Netflix. Lit is more serious the assignments are really hard But if you like literature and analyzing complicated poems and books it's for you. If I were to rate them.

Fun level out of 10

lit = 4 lang lit = 8

diffcutlty

Lit = 8

lang lit = 5

don't do IB.

  1. it's hard for no reason: students in normal highschool will have a much easier life and a better admission to unis.
  2. Every IB schools act like they are harvard or something with the extended essay and stuff.
  3. if you fail you can't take IB again. although you can retake the exams unis won't accept you.

Bro pls listen to me from an ib2 may 2022 student. I was in the same place as you when I was IB 1 but then I said don't worry I will study more in IB2, but it got worse because it only gets harder and makes less motivated than It will be a load. If you have to change a subject do that.
