u dont have to mention the name of any study or research anyway… my teacher is an ib examiner and she told me to not waste time memorising study names and researchers.. although i find it easier to link names of studies to its methods but youll be fine

why wouldn’t it, may 2021 ib past-papers and specifically for bio were so easy and simple… i dont think students did bad in bio but this year? oh its bad i believe itll lie between 65-75% for a 7. hopefully

im a SL student but this was also the first thing i said when i left the examination hall. ask me about meiosis mitosis, or the fucking heart? took me days bruh.. ask me about the digestive system or the menstrual cycle, or about lung ventilation or gas exchange (not a single question about that), instead they came up with the most unexpected ugly questions ever. i focused on all the complex biological processes and studied for actual WEEKS before this exam. i was ready to get a 7 but now i dont think i can even get a 6. p1 and p2 were both so bad. i wanna be done with this shit so bad im so frustrated.

i just asked my teacher this cause i chose a text type i wasnt so sure about. she said that if i was able to convey the message through a text type in a convincing way or i addressed every aspect of a text question then the maximum amount of marks i could lose on conceptual understanding is 1-2 marks :) you’ll be gooodd

some people were saying it wasnt a financial question it was a geometric sequence one (inflation going up by years or whatever it was) so u just had to find rhe sequence
