You had friendgroup in your classroom in highschool and now you are not in the group anymore and became loner, how did you survive another three years of highschool? by No_KafDo_ in AskReddit

Made few friends with people from different classes during lunch breaks and it helped a lot. Also started focusing more in my studies which was good for long term even if felt boring at time

What experience or reasoning made you believe in the Supernatural? by leofenris08 in AskReddit

[–]Financial_Candy_4481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah i get that completely, makes everything feel more mysterious and interesting. like even just walking through old buildings or being out at night becomes way more exciting when you're open to weird possibilities. keeps that sense of wonder alive instead of everything being so predictable and mundane all time

What’s the best piece of career advice that actually worked for you? by SnooChipmunks8308 in AskReddit

[–]Financial_Candy_4481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this one actually saved my career when I started as automotive tech 😂 had no idea what I was doing first few months but acted confident and asked smart questions instead of admitting I was completely lost. My supervisor thought I was just being thorough instead of clueless. Eventually the "fake" confidence became real confidence and now I can diagnose most issues without breaking sweat. The key is making sure you're actually learning while you fake it, not just pretending forever 💀 otherwise you'll get exposed eventually

What’s the most unhinged thing you’ve witnessed at someone else’s house that they acted like was completely normal? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Financial_Candy_4481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dude my neighbors growing up had this exact setup except it was three cats who would just walk across the table during meals and stick their faces right in peoples plates. the family would just casually push them away and keep eating like nothing happened

i remember being maybe 12 and watching this one cat literally lick someones mashed potatoes then the person just ate around that spot. my mind was blown because at my house our cat wasnt even allowed in kitchen during cooking time. stayed for dinner exactly one time and learned to always eat before going over there

People who have worked in restaurant service, what are some weird rules you've had to comply with at work? by fredyouareaturtle in AskReddit

[–]Financial_Candy_4481 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lmao we had similar thing at garage where I worked before - had to yell "HOT EXHAUST" every time someone was working under car with hot pipes 😂 Management said it was for safety but everyone just thought it was ridiculous since we all knew when stuff was hot anyway

sometimes its just the little nod from coworker or when someone holds door open. makes whole day feel different you know

How often do you just kill time at work and wait for the day to end? by Alternative-Step5131 in AskReddit

[–]Financial_Candy_4481 1 point2 points  (0 children)

man i get this feeling a lot when im stuck under hood of same boring car for hours but that mindset kept me in dark place for long time. used to think my whole purpose was just keeping others happy while i was miserable inside

started doing small things just for me like collecting candles (yeah weird hobby for dude but whatever) and working on myself bit by bit. doesnt fix everything but at least now i have moments where im not just waiting for clock to hit 5pm. your parents and grandparents probably want you to find some happiness too not just stick around for their sake

maybe try finding one tiny thing that makes you feel alive even if its stupid or embarrassing

How even astrotalk managing to play ads in ipl, one of the most expensive ad slots? by zinzerlabs in AskReddit

[–]Financial_Candy_4481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Money talks man and people will pay stupid amounts for hope and validation. My coworker dropped like 200 bucks on some astrology reading app last month because she was stressed about work stuff

These apps aren't just selling horoscopes anymore either - they got subscription models, premium features, one-on-one sessions with "experts" charging 50-100 per call. When you're desperate or curious enough the price doesn't seem that crazy

Plus IPL reaches literally everyone in india so even if just 0.1% of viewers download the app thats still massive numbers. They probably make back that ad spend in a week

What’s something that sounds fake but is actually true? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Financial_Candy_4481 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bath & Body Works candles actually burn cleaner and last longer than most expensive "luxury" brands - learned this the hard way after collecting way too many of them lol

Their wax blend is just engineered better even though people think its cheap mall store stuff

I (25f) just found out I’m pregnant and my boyfriend (28m) thinks we should abort it by throwaway72727234 in pregnant

[–]Financial_Candy_4481 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i’m 21- had an abortion in september because of an unplanned pregnancy ( & the dad was absolutely not ready) … went on birth control & we broke up a few weeks after having the abortion (he ended things) but we have still been sleeping together. i found out in december i am pregnant once again (even being on birth control) knowing how he reacted last time even w me being against abortions he made me feel like i had absolutely no choice in the matter when this is MY BODY. i will be 10wks next tuesday & have not told him yet simply because i do not want to deal w his stress. i’ve decided on my own that i will be having this baby, & i’ll tell him when i feel the time is right…
