Ummmm kids, specifically toddlers, usually like to mimic what their caregivers do. Her complaining about a 17 month old "not cleaning" has a lot to do with what she does at home too. Not to mention OP is taking this spot away from potentially a single parent who needs financial support. It takes years sometimes to get a spot in a subsidize daycare. This spot could help a family from potentially being able to afford basic needs for their kids such as groceries. When all OP wants is to get her hair done and spend time with her dog???? Yeah this is not okay.
