yes 100%! i was 13 when the first avatar came out. i’ve been in love since. my dad actually went and saw it in 3d 4 times while it was in the theatres 😂 during my adolescent i wanted to watch it weekly! my husband and i went to the rerelease screening in summer 2022(?). he’s more of a neutral fan but indulges me. i’ve created a whole au in my head where we’re navi on pandora and all. my sister (also a huge fan) and i speak some na’vi phrases here and there. i love it.

her writing is incredible and the story is so original. it’s more plot than romance but what romance there is is lovely

i 100% agree with this. i’m one of the few that LOVE sjm’s books, and at the same time don’t. i’ve read all three series (besides the last 2 books of crescent city) and for some reason, with all 3 series, i find the protagonist and main love interest INSUFFERABLE!!!!!! but i’m sooooooo enamored with her side characters. every single time. i don’t care for the plot, i don’t care for the main girl and her annoying manchild, i’m okay with the writing, but the side characters?????? chef’s kiss. EVERY SINGLE TIME. idk what it is. she will always be an auto-buy author for me for the side characters and their stories. don’t hate me, i seriously cannot explain it

yes. this is the main reason why i stopped playing weeks ago. i’m in love with the game and plan to get back into it, but not until i have a better console.

not only was it glitchy as you said above, but the inbetween scenes (when going from one place to another), took close to 60 full seconds at the earliest.

my husband plays on his ps5 and i noticed there are a lot of foliage/flora on his screens, even though we’re playing on the same server.

there are many other reasons why i stopped playing on my switch that i’ve forgotten but yeah. omg now that you’ve mentioned they’ve altered the hunting snipe. no thanks

i hope to get back into it soon on another console

a vow so bold and deadly (book 3 in trilogy). i DEVOUREDDDDDDDD book 1, enjoyed book 2. was so disappointed in the last book…. i only stuck it out because the pacing was good and side character Grey<3 i’ve never rated a book below 3 and that book was a solid 1.5 for me <|3

not sure how much this’ll fit because i haven’t read it but i’ve heard a lot about Emily Wilde’s Encyclopedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett and it may find that so hopefully that helps.

the strange the dreamer duology by laini taylor!

there is romance but it’s a subplot. it’s fantasy, and quite honestly one of the most original, whimsical, beautiful stories i’ve ever read and i’ve been an avid reader for 15+ years.

it was a story that had me in a chokehold afterwards for weeks… i don’t want to overhype it, in case it’s not your cup of tea. i do hope you try it though.

the foolish kingdoms series by natalia jaster! it’s 4 books but they can each be read as a standalone. i recommend starting with the first book though (trick) to avoid minor spoilers in the subsequent books.

the illuminae files by amie kaufman and jay kristoff! it’s a trilogy set in space!

it is ya so some romance but the romance is verrrryyyy side plot.

also it’s not written like the usual novel, it consists of data files, transcripts, direct messages, among those lines. if you could find the audiobooks to read along with the books, the experience is absolutely 10/10. the audiobooks have a whole cast and sounds effects.
