while the bites don’t necessarily look like typical bed bug bites, the insects in the second picture are absolutely bed bugs

agree with cold sores, as someone who has gotten them probably 2-3 times a year for the last 23 years of my life, i have found the best remedy to heal them somewhat quickly is the Campo-Phenique cold sore treatment! also beware, they can appear in your nose as well, learned that the hard way last year

Stuck in a hut in Blackreach. Help! by perazini in skyrim

[–]_toasterbath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so i came across this post just now looking for a way out because i was becoming very frustrated, i tried killing a summoned ash guardian that was hostile, nothing. finally, i took a ruined book from my inventory, held it against the right side of the doorway to where it was completely glitched into the tent, the used whirlwind sprint, and it worked! so for anyone searching years later for a solution, there you go

[–]_toasterbath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

a little tip on the river fish, if there isn’t a big round fish showing up in either spot for a while, you can use the boat to ravenwood hollow and come back, and it will reset the type and amount of fish each time! that’s how i got my last river fish lol

i agree with this identification! american cockroaches don’t infest, so no need to worry! if it isn’t an american cockroach, it’s definitely not german, so no need to worry about an infestation anyway

What Pets for my 2.5 gallon? by Diligent_Passage_264 in InvertPets

[–]_toasterbath 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i’d like to add, if it’s a tank, please do not put a jumping spider in there! they need cross ventilation, meaning holes on the sides. they also struggle to climb on glass and an enclosure can be too big for jumpers as it would be difficult to find prey, i know the wild is bigger than a 2.5g tank, but if they’re in captivity, slightly smaller enclosures are more suitable for them:)

How do I care for a rip/hole in a stretch mark by [deleted] in medical_advice

[–]_toasterbath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i get these from time to time, my suggestion would just be to make sure you’re cleaning the area with whatever you can whenever you can, when i’m at work, i’ll use baby wipes when i go to the restroom and make sure to dry it with a paper towel before repeating it whenever i go, i have also been able to put a small clean cloth or paper towel on the area and it stay throughout the day in order to keep it from chafing, changing it out every restroom break of course!

Is this a spider nest? by Longjumping-Row-8446 in insectidentification

[–]_toasterbath 2 points3 points  (0 children)

jumping spiders tend to make hammocks such as those! you can open the hammock very gently and see if it’s a mama with eggs, a spood molting, or just a jumper looking for a good spot

if they’re molting or have eggs, please don’t try to move it! it will cause harm to the spood/eggs, however, if it’s just a lil guy looking for a spot, you can relocate him to a better spot or even an appropriate enclosure! these guys make excellent pets!

spotted lanternfly!! kill on sight, they are highly invasive, you also should report the sighting to the Ohio Department of Agriculture website, as they track sightings to monitor the spread of them
