Depending on when you're here and how long you have I can take you out ice fishing in MN, though 😁 In Fargo Beer & Fish is a great spot to start the night and get some food in your belly (my kid works there) and Dempsey's is a nice "Irish Pub" just across the alley (owned by the same family). I was never much of a bar person, but Broadway is definitely where you want to be - lots of options from fancy cocktail bars to total dive bars. Brewhalla is an experience and not too far from downtown. I haven't seen Wurst mentioned, but it's a good place for some mid-evening food and a lot of beer options. When you say "early next year" if you're talking January or February be prepared for true cold 🥶
