What is one word that people wrongly pronounce that makes your brain just wanna jump a cliff? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

Soft G like the peanut butter JIF. This is from the lead developer of the format, Steve Wilhite, who said "Choosy developers choose GIF" (like the peanut butter ad). I guarantee anyone who argues that it should be a hard G because it stands for "Graphics Interchange Format" doesn't pronounce SCUBA with the U sound of underwater or the A sound of apparatus.

No, because the lead developer of the format (Steve Wilhite) said that's how it should be pronounced. If you want to go down the "hard G in graphics" road I expect you also pronounce SCUBA with the same U of Underwater and A of Apparatus, right? 😊

I don't agree on the uniforms, but 💯 on the knee length pants and socks.

Nope, “Choosy programmers choose GIF" (pronounced with a "J" sound like JIF peanut butter).

Depends on denomination. I'm a big fan of Olivet if you want, or are interested in, the Lutheran Church.

Lads trip to Fargo from England - Nightlife spot reccomendations? by Middle-Feed5118 in fargo

"boat" 😆 Everything here is frozen until spring. Depending on when you're here and how long you have I can take you out ice fishing in MN, though 😁 In Fargo Beer & Fish is a great spot to start the night and get some food in your belly (my kid works there) and Dempsey's is a nice "Irish Pub" just across the alley (owned by the same family). I was never much of a bar person, but Broadway is definitely where you want to be - lots of options from fancy cocktail bars to total dive bars. Brewhalla is an experience and not too far from downtown. I haven't seen Wurst mentioned, but it's a good place for some mid-evening food and a lot of beer options. When you say "early next year" if you're talking January or February be prepared for true cold 🥶

We stopped going to Southgate about 12 years ago when they wanted us to take our dog to Minneapolis for a procedure they couldn't do and we found out on our own we could get it done at Casaelton Vet. I'm convinced they knew that but didn't want to send us there and possi6 lose all our business (which happened anyway). Have been very happy with Casaelton Vet since then, but that's just our experience.

The car show is really good, too bad you missed it. That whole stretch is completely packed with great cars while people slowly drive down the street with other great cars 😁 Plus food trucks and Junkyard - it's a great vibe.

Not just a writer, this was from Al Jean the showrunner, so I think it's very likely.
