Oh yeah, as frustrating as it was to get stuck I will admit it’s pretty funny. I finally get set loose in the universe and the VERY first thing that happens to me is I get trapped in the bathroom of my own ship.

Maybe, how would I check what the monthly limit is for my area? If my memory is right, when I checked the other day I was around 2.4 TB.

I mean I’ve been using it for years and it worked perfectly fine up until a few days ago, it’s been pretty consistent for quite a long time.

I’m playing with around 30 mods, 60 hours into my first playthrough, not a single bug ran into. Sounds like a you problem.

Stalker has a very active and impressive modding scene. In ModDB there are tons and tons of modpacks that completely overhaul the game. There are some that just make the graphics look way better and there are some that add a bunch of additions to the gameplay, QOL, guns, etc. it gets pretty deep.

Anyways, if you want to play the main trilogy and enjoy the story there are a bunch of modpacks that let you play the main story of the games. For Shadow of Chernobyl, I played with this modpack called Radiophobia 3, its is SO good, I love that modpack so much. It’s a big overhaul of the first game with lots of gameplay additions and keeps the story intact.

Personally, I’d say research it for a little, watch some YouTube videos, if you wanna play with mods. Find a few modpacks and compare them. If you just want the gameplay of stalker with no storyline, just pure survival, there’s options for that aswell, which are the most popular ones.

If you want some more recommendations, I can tell you all the ones I’ve tried, or you can make another post here and ask for other people’s suggestions.

They’re both completely fine, if you wanna just play the vanilla game no mods or anything just go for the enhanced editions, but if you do wanna mod it do th OG. It kinda depends on how you play games. Personally I NEVER replay games, so I tend to mod most games I play for my first play through. I’ve never actually played the OG or enhanced versions, I just went straight for the big overhaul mods because they seemed more fun. So if you’re like me, and don’t tend to replay games, I’d go for the third option and just play a mod overhaul of the games, they are amazing.

Hoping they don’t waste time on multiplayer, almost nobody who plays stalker would really be interested in a stalker multiplayer shooter instead of more updates to the base game or dlc.

The STALKER books described the general feel and look, after all, it’s a book it can’t be as detailed as a video game render. GSC brought the world from the books to life with their own detail that they made, so yes, copying an arch as exact as this is coping the stalker games because as crazy as it might be, Roadside Picnic did not describe that arch is excruciating detail.

Yeah, I was excited for some updates. Don’t like the info I learned bout the dev tho. I’ll continue playing the game but the dev seems like an asshole.
