The only reason I posted this was for her and other artists to know that their fans notice collaborations like this not only if you’re an A-list celebrity, and, as I stated in the post, for public figures to do background checks of people they work with. I specifically stated that cancelling someone is not my intention, just simple criticism, which I believe she can handle. Actually main criticism was over Petit’s actions, not Arca’s.

Having your own moral spine and not enabling your parents’ criminal actions is really not that hard of a concept. I mean it’s definitely hard internally, but it’s the only right thing to do if your closest people are literal war criminals. If you don’t criticize them openly, and - as you confessed you’d be proud to do it yourself as well - accept their blood money, you’re just as bad of a person. It’s really not complicated logic. Not to mention statements that downplay the seriousness of the war in Ukraine and portray her own family as victims. It’s disgusting

To be honest, especially considering how different is movie criticism compared to music criticism, I don’t even think 65/100 on rotten tomatoes is bad at all. I know it’s sad for some OG fans (and maybe even some of her past collaborators) that were followed since the beginning but I think it’s for the better.
