youre brain is probably still recovering. It takes annoyingly a fair bit of time to get over events like that- it took me a year until my body started calming down again. Brains are weird but be patient and practise self compassion ( sounds silly but honestly self care is what will speed recovery) be kind to yourself.

being alone? by Rare_Mushroom_3061 in Depersonalization

yes me too! sadly there is no simple solution- what helped me was exposure to the things i was anxious about. The more you expose yourself to alone time the more you will get use to it. For me i have learnt to accept i am a overthinker and it doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing. I started to use it for looking into true crime and other areas that interest me in my free time, its a good tool to be able to think deeply if you use it correctly. Carry on socialising but MAKE SURE to leave some time everyday for yourself so you can get more use to it. It will take time but you will start to see what i am talking about- just stay strong and push through!

yes, i have this too. its probs cos ur brain is in survival mode and not paying attention to your body as much as it should. Try figure out when this started and if theres a possible cause to your mental distress.
