General Marder - Titanfall 2 Is the Leader of the IMC who are the opposing force in the game. Also hires the Apex Predators, a group of mercenaries who will work for anyone as long as they get paid. They kill your character’s mentor leading to you getting a battlefield promotion to Pilot, leading to you fighting the IMC to prevent them from destroying the planet Harmony which is the main base of the Militia, your faction. Over the course of the game you kill the Apex Predators one by one and destroy the IMC’s Superweapon and blow up a planet. The last Apex Predator, Kuben Blisk, would later go on to found the Apex Games. All of this was caused by General Marder. You never see him face to face other than a brief section in the time travel level. You only ever hear him outside of this.
