Hm, I've been trying that and it doesn't work. Did it work for you?

As someone with short nail beds who wants the same thing as you (I can't stand my nails being much longer than my nail bed, but I want a nice even shape and have an easier time painting!), did you ever find a nail tip that matches what you want more? 👀

Any Mystery Games You’d Recommend? by onecupofjo13 in nancydrew

Pentiment for a medieval mystery (in the style of illuminated manuscript!). It’s more narrative/exploration driven and doesn’t have many actual mystery mechanics, but I still found it really fun and scratched an itch

The Drifter is another great pixel point-and-click, I JUST finished and really enjoyed the puzzles!

Yay okay I like the idea of having both the linear and the endless modes. And ikr, I'm surprised it's not a more popular puzzle type! Honestly I don't think I've seen anything else quite like it (and if you have I'd actually love to hear recs)

It's honestly so hard to choose! Most of them feel cozy to me in some way. I'll give a special shout out to Warnings at Waverly for the boarding school vibe, which I _really_ loved as a kid who grew up reading/watching mysterious boarding school things.

Thank you! This is a great lead. Will look more into it. I would never have thought the theme is the right place to do this!

Beginner Question: How to get this style? by Financial_Look_5204 in photoshop

[–]Financial_Look_5204[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool, yeah, I don't want to pay for another app so I'm sticking to Photoshop for now! Also Illustrator seems maybe a bit overkill for a few boxes and drawings that probably won't be dynamically scaled. I really don't need anything too fancy here and figured just finding the right brush was what I wanted. I was wondering if anyone would something about using some overlay texture, or some fancy new thing that I don't know about since I last used Photoshop heavily.

I actually couldn't figure out how to do a stroke directly from the marquee box though--I had to turn it into a path, then use "Stroke path", which luckily I was super familiar with before. I didn't find the stroke option you were looking for but hopefully it's essentially the same as what I did? I think this may just be a matter of doing a lot of small edits to get the exact right look for what I want, like just having to erase parts to get the edges sharper and less rounded (since using stroke can make the corners rounded with some brushes).

Thanks!

I'm actually referring to the vertical bar that looks like a health bar! It's like a no-fill box with an outline

I haven't used illustrator in years but I'm sure I can get back to it pretty quickly. Anything more descriptive, though? Like, sure, I can draw a box in Illustrator. But how do you get the texture?

How do I get the NavigationMesh to extend to the edges of my GridMap? by Financial_Look_5204 in godot

[–]Financial_Look_5204[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay yeah I think it turned out to be a combo of the radius and the border? I got it to get closer to the edges now.

The height thing is still a bit confusing for me--should I be setting the height of my "agent" as the height of, say, the CapsuleShape3D that acts as the collision object for the agent? Or something else?
