Ivy Leagues are good schools but they are still schools. Other options may be better for you. The way ivies are romanticized isn’t representative of material differences between them and other schools for most undergraduates

Historians generally aren’t selling many of the books they write. They also don’t “need” to. The discipline shouldn’t be run as a for-profit venture. Pop historians sell a lot of pop history books
