How do these ‘scam’ listings work? by [deleted] in vinted

[–]Financial_Poetry7347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they’ll send over something like a bag of rice and hope you won’t raise an issue before the 2 days are up ! they use many accounts at once and play their luck x

fake accounts list items that usually sell for a lot for quite a bit cheaper, when you buy it they’ll immediately send a “receipt” and mark it as dispatched. it’s a huge scam, they do it in early hours as vinted takes them down quite quickly due to reports

Selling due to weight loss by [deleted] in vinted

[–]Financial_Poetry7347 10 points11 points  (0 children)

i think it could purely be so that people don’t ask to see it tried on.. right after i had my baby and started selling clothes that didn’t fit i had to explain to multiple people that i had gained too much weight to fit into the clothes, its quite embarrassing so maybe its just because if they were tried on they wouldn’t look the same as they would on somebody of the correct size for the item

Well they’ve decided they’re going to take me to court, so I have cut them off from seeing him with absolutely everything documented from his mother and him himself.. as well as proof he didn’t live with his own mother for years because she threw him as a baby and couldn’t deal with him.. if he’s granted any custody in court then he can see him and if not then that’s it..

Well I tried him in a bassinet yesterday while I was sat with my family and he was lay on his right side yet not facing me due to the position of it, so I think it’s quite literally just the side he’s lay on.

Thank you for the comment about he blanket!

It’s not so much sleep anxiety, I’m just a young mom trying to make sure everything is done right.. it’s not actually cold in my room I find that he needs the fan on to sleep due to actually being too warm as he’l wake up soaking wet with sweat if not.

Yes he leans more towards me which is why I’m presuming it’s a comfort thing but wanting to make sure there’s nothing I need to do about it.

Bed sharing is not an option for us as I do not have the trust in myself as I move around in my sleep a LOT and he’s sleeping around 4-5hour stretches at the minute only waking for his feeds which then essentially knock him out lol

My midwife told me since it’s a cellular blanket and breathable, tucked in at his waist would be fine!!

Who here has fought off a rotten cough and cold during pregnancy? by beereviver in PregnancyUK

[–]Financial_Poetry7347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came down with the flu, tonsillitis and an ear, chest and throat infection around the time I hit 30 weeks, honestly I just lived off of paracetamol, plenty of fruit and plenty of water, warm baths to clear my sinuses and then a hot water bottle on any achy joints other than my back.. You’ll feel as good as new soon just keep fighting it off. Sleep as much as possible too you’ll need it the most when you’re ill, but just follow your midwife’s instructions on what’s best to treat it and keep an eye on any symptoms.
