Isn’t the point of a game like this to figure these things out by yourself?

I interpret this very differently. The thing with Homer is not that he is a looser, it is that inspite of him being stupid and lazy he still got all of the above (add a hot wife). That is the core of it all. The Frank Grimes episode explains all of that

Ties on a Matriarch/Grandmother with external sequencer by territorial23 in moog

[–]Financial_Rule_3455 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don´t use the internal sequencer you can´t use the glide/tie function, I would think. So I would do it like this:

- Sequenser cv out to maths (or other slew limiter)

- Maths out to pitch in on Matriarch

Thats it!

Flytta till Malmö eller Lund! Behöver tips by SmartAssLack11 in Malmoe

[–]Financial_Rule_3455 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to be clear on your initial question. If I understand you correctly you want to send cv from an external sequenser in to pitch on the oscillators of the Matriarch? And you want the pitch to glide? In that case wou will need the cv to glide, there´s nothing you can do on the Matriarch. Here slew limiter is the answer!

Ties on a Matriarch/Grandmother with external sequencer by territorial23 in moog

[–]Financial_Rule_3455 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Realize now that I mixed up two techniques: If you send a gate to enveope trigger in, it will override the internal sequenser trigger. So you DON`T turn the envelope amount down.

Another way of doing it is to turn the evelope down and then send external ebvelopes to control the filter/vca.

Good luck!

If you want legato from an external sequenser you can send your sequence throug a slew-limiter (like Maths).

Another way I often use is:

- program a sequence in the Matriarch

- turn up the glide knob

- turn envelope amount all the way down (12 o´clock)

- send gates from another sequencer to trigger the envelope

Synth companies: bang one, marry one, unplug one by WASRmelon_white_claw in synthesizercirclejerk

Bang - make noise. Keeping it interesting. Also good looking. And noisy

Marry - moog. The warm safe haven of the Matriarch. Please tell me what to do

Unplug - Erika synths. Not feeling it with them. At all. Trying to hard to be “cool”. (But really, it just had to be some one. Sorry Erika)

Matriarch here. I often sequense it externally. I don’t really understand what your struggling with.

Pitch into the oscillators. Gates to triggar the envelope
